In the 2015 movie “Trumbo,” top Hollywood scriptwriter Dalton Trumbo fights against the evils of a blacklist that prevents him from earning a living in the late 1940s and 1950s because of his membership in the Communist Party of the United States.
The plot of the film — based on a true story — could work for a documentary about Hollywood today, but with an important twist. Now far-left and pro-Communist voices are celebrated. The cancel culture has come for conservative and Christian voices. And heaven help anyone in Hollywood who supports President Trump.
Actor Antonio Sabato Jr. is out to change that.

#1, there is probably content and writers aplenty being rejected by the leftists running the Hollyweird studios.

The leftist politicians, mainstream media, and entertainment world are responsible for much of the national unrest in all its forms that exist in this country right now--aided and abetted by leftist citizens tuning in and paying money for disgusting filth and violence. Considering the longevity, the success of treasured old motion picture films, television programs and music, it seems there is a longing for more decency in the entertainment industry, including musical talent as evidenced by the popularity of the few dancing and vocal programs currently shown on television. The phenomenal success of “Downton Abbey” as a six-year television series and as a motion picture should be an indication of what decent people appreciate. Let’s hope Mr. Sabato can put together a successful venture not only for actors and producers, but for people of faith as well. America sorely needs a return to decency, to morality.

It won't last long before Soros', the Butcher, and the Kenyan loot it and burn it down by their commie mob.

This will really be needed after the outing of "Hollywood royalty" for harming children.
I know enough about one major star, that I can't stand to rewatch a long list of his movies that show up on sling.

Quick, quick! Call Clint! Call James Woods! I wish all success to Antonio. America wants these stories of American heroes. The Left ruins everything they touch.

Not so sure about Clint Eastwood. He may have lost his marbles like Sleepy Joe.
Eastwood endorsed Bernie Sanders a few months ago.

The names of Christian actors listed below are strong and very capable of taking flak. Missing the names of Gary Sinise and Reba MacIntyre and probably dozens of other less familiar. I double checked the Godtube.com article I saw and they have published a list of producers of movies. That list included Mel Gibson at No. 3 because of the wide acceptance of his summum bonum ''Passion of the Christ.'' In my dotage, I can still remember when movies were just movies; not Black folk movies, white folk movies, Christian movies, etc. Niche films is what people want now. My preference is for those about family life and better choices for all of us.

It's a long road ahead but he better not roll over the the 'blackness' like Hollywood did or Sabato will be a failure. This also includes making commercials I'm sick of the interracial, all black smart family and dumb white men themes. It's going to be an uphill struggle if it gets off the ground at all. I would think it would easier to go overseas to make movies like Italy or Spain like the ole spaghetti westerns were.

1. The new studio doesn't have to be in California. Georgia, Florida and Texas are all good locations to plant a Studio.
2. How do I buy stock?

Fix the problem at the source. Give the union-run schools some competition or outright replace them with a conservative-run system.

Maybe Sabato won’t be ignored by the big names - most of them are white and may find themselves looking for work.

I've been saying for some time that the left-shift of the entire movie business has left a gigantic market wide open for some sharp entrepreneurs. Hopefully this is the start. Call it "Flying 'MAGA' Studios" or something like that.
Find the next John Wayne. Make unabashed pro-US military movies. Ditto on great cowboy movies like "High Noon," which is in fact a pre-documentary of President Trump taking on not just the gang arriving on the noon train but pretty much all the judges and half the cowardly townspeople in the area. Luckily, he too will ride off with the beautiful Melania someday too, knowing he followed the Cowboy Code faithfully, cleaned up as much of the gang and assorted followers as possible, and not caring that half the town still hates him and the other half is still cowardly. Because that's just what the Cowboy Code means and why he follows it no matter what.
OK, Sagman, I outlined your script for you. What are you waiting for?

If you want to see a movie about heroes, be sure to watch The Outpost - set in Afghanistan. You can watch it for $6.99 on amazon.

Wonderful, wonderful! I wish Antonio great success. He's not only handsome (am I allowed to say that?), but wise and courageous. His heart is in this mission - and so are many of ours as well. Thank you, Antonio, for this; America needs it, and we need it!

I understand that Dalton Trumbo was able to make a good living by writing under an assumed name.

This is where the rubber meets the road. Conservatives need to support this man so that we can bring back the message of hope and love that Hollywood has stolen. Movies are a very powerful medium, this is a wagon worth jumping on.

Hollywood can not tolerate competition because every successful movie done outside of their control makes them look like a bunch of fools (which they have been for a while). Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" bowled them over. Also J. K. Rowling's seven movies of the Harry Potter series were all blockbusters and she totally excluded Hollywood's "finest" actors. We need more of that before those filthy people go bankrupt and don't feel the full amount of pain. Given what the quality of their product has been for the last twenty years, it won't be difficult.

Question is will movie theaters be pressured to ban conservative movies from their theaters? Will outside pressure groups protest or burn down theaters who dare to run conservative based content?

fta: Hollywood has lost the ability to craft stories about real life, and viewers know it. The audience has moved on to the only things movies can deliver effectively — escapist stories of animation, science fiction and superheroes. In the pre-pandemic days of 2019, back when people went to movie theaters, the top 10 films were completely dominated by such fantastic fare.

Don't forget remakes. Haven't so many of us said noone in Hollywood is making movies with original or adapted from good book story lines anymore. I have been reading books that were made into classic movies or even miniseries lately, The Princess Bride, Gone with the Wind, Giant, So Big, and now Shogun. Good stories, all of them. There are still good stories out there.
I wish them luck but highly recommend they stay out of the corrupt system as much as possible, create a whole new system from the bottom up in necessary. The money from an eager public hoping for good stories is there. Many of us moviephiles who have shunned theatres for decades but would love to shell out some cash to see a good edifying story, we are out here and we are tired of PC remakes and stupid comic book movies being touted as good film. The grownups in Hollywood need to gird themselves for the good fight. There is money to be made.

#11, “Now, let's get a neutral social network,”
Great News, there is one already, haven’t you heard, it’s called
Parler, join us!
[No bots allowed, and no data-mining, and to confirm you are an individual, you are texted a code. You can also get further validation/confirmation if you wish, as Ted Cruz did, you will see a small ‘p’ of different colors by your pic. Videos and pix are welcome.]
Now re good wholesome movies, next time you come to Carmel, stop by the Cypress Inn, which Doris Day owned and now her son does. Her movies are on the big screen in the lobby lounge continuously!

Conservative movies need to be more than just evangelical Christian message vehicles.
Remember, "Ghostbusters" was a conservative/libertarian movie. Small business versus Big Government. Write like that and you'll be fine.

Nick Searcy is another excellent, conservative actor and film maker. He's substituted for Rush.
