John Durham, the U.S. Attorney who is heading a criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation, is to release his findings by the end of the summer. The review, which became a criminal investigation last fall, has been derided by Democrats as simply a scheme to damage President Trump's Democrat rivals before November's election. But Department of Justice spokeswoman Kerri Kupec, said that the report was not the 'goal' of the criminal investigation but that it will be 'pivotal to the restoration of that one tiered system of justice.' 'There is a story to be told there.

Seems to me it depends on the definition of “end” (or “summer” for that matter.) And no cliches and platitudes. Maybe a good story with real live illustrations; I.e., people in handcuffs and an agent’s hand on the top of their head as their rump hits the backseat of a black car. That kind of illustration.

Many of US already know the story. Given that the "impeachment" is barely talked about, most people know it was a farce, so you can't punk US with a report, Mr. Durham and Mr. Barr. You'd better come with more than that. Way more. As others have said, we need indictments with famous names attached to them. By the way, I don't trust the DM. Is anyone else reporting on this?

Not to be a nattering nabob of negativity, but I hope the story turns into some meaningful indictments. We all know the story, now lay out the evidence for the world to see and kick start the wheels of justice. The country has been put through the mill because of the democrat party’s lawlessness and conspiracy to unseat the President of the United States. Do you ever wonder if this investigation had moved along in a more expedient matter that we may not be going through the hell that we have been forced to endure these past few years? Frankly, I am preparing myself for a huge disappointment when this all shakes out. If the deep state is capable of doing what we have witnessed here lately, I don’t know if there is enough courage and determination in the political class to do what is right. I hope to High Heaven I am wrong and we will finally see all the criminality exposed that has been done and sanctioned by corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. If that occurs, the country will owe a great debt to those individuals who were willing to step up and do what is right and just. We need to see that good conquers evil.

Suuuure. It was supposed to be released in early summer. Now late summer. That'll change to fall. Then, not before the election. After that, if President Trump loses, we'll never hear of it again. If he wins, it'll be next spring. Rinse and repeat to keep stalling. By the way, what's the statute of limitations on all this? They're going to run out the clock.

Like most media, the Daily Mail hates Trump. So this story is surely designed to reduce our enthusiasm for voting for his re-election. However, if there are no indictments, it will once again prove that there is no justice or accountability for Democrats since they control the DoJ, FBI, the CIA and as we have witnessed with all the federal court rulings against Trump, the federal judiciary, up to and including the SC. Which means we need to support Trump just to offset the 94% of the federal employees whose first loyalty is party, not Constitution. So while the article is depressing, not supporting Trump will make things even more depressing under one party rule.

Without arrests, I refuse to ever say "keep America great". Until we have law and order, we are still in the "make America great again" category. Laws without enforcement are just suggestions. Reports without arrests are no different than the Seattle cops standing down. Information on what was going on in Chaz was not sufficient. They had to go in there and take their city back. I remember reading of a roman who would spread rumors about himself that were so extreme- in a negative way- that no one would believe them. Then, people would put rumors of things that he actually did into the same category- all just rumors, all just false. Manipulation of information has a long history. The dims will manipulate this no matter how bad into I’m trying to think what would make a couple of people I know think to themselves “dimocrats have done something wrong, something that should not have been done.” Not sure about that. Through its rhetoric on the coronavirus pandemic, CNN has made it abundantly clear its goal has been to send Americans into mentally-crippling fear over the coronavirus pandemic and blaming President Trump directly for the rampant loss of life. Thursday’s Situation Room did that in reacting to the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing, bragging that “the chickens [have come] home to roost” for the “dishonestly rosy” Trump as it’s “beating him and beating him badly.”In other words, optimism and hope for tomorrow is poisonous to the health of CNN’s narrative. There’s an obvious balance between denial of the pandemic’s seriousness and outright doom and gloom, but CNN has never

The coronavirus pandemic and recession that followed make it hard for any other news to make it to the front page, but the end of the tragedy is in sight. Just this week, researchers at Oxford announced positive results in human trials for their vaccine. Even if we are not yet at the beginning of the end, we may be, as Winston Churchill once said, at the end of the beginning. That means it might be time, at last, for the presidential campaign to focus on more than the pandemic. By this point in the election cycle, we should be hearing about the two candidates’ visions for the next four years.

Self-censorship is on the rise according to a new Cato Institute survey that reports nearly two-thirds of Americans are afraid to share their political views. This is up several points from 2017 when 58% of Americans said they were afraid to share their political beliefs. “31% of liberals, 30% of moderates and 34% of conservatives are worried their political views could get them fired or harm their career trajectory,” the CATO survey stated. A recent poll conducted by Politico found that a plurality

NFL fans are trolling the team formerly known as the Redskins for revealing their hotly-anticipated new name on Thursday: Washington Football Team. In an announcement on Thursday, the team said: 'We're retiring our old name—and building a new kind of team. For the upcoming season, we're calling ourselves The Washington Football Team.' The new logo is the word Washington with the 'Football Team, EST 1932' beneath it. It replaces the old logo, which was of an Native American chief. Washington—The Senate on Thursday passed a $740 billion defense spending bill that includes a provision to remove the name of Confederate leaders from military bases—setting up a showdown with President Trump who is opposed to the move. The GOP-controlled chamber overwhelming passed the legislation with a vote of 81 to 14—well over the number required to override the presidential veto which Trump threatened to wield last month in a bid to stop the bill. The National Defense Authorization Act includes a plan to change the names of army bases named after Confederate soldiers, such as Fort Bragg in North Carolina

Hillary Clinton’s weird and fiercely loyal troupe of admirers is determined to make you love her. They are so determined, in fact, that they will even rewrite the story of her life to make her seem more appealing. The online streaming service Hulu, for example, has optioned the rights to Curtis Sittenfeld’s Rodham, a work of “alternate history” fiction that imagines Hillary Clinton’s life without Bill Clinton. Sittenfeld’s book envisions a world in which an unmarried Hillary Rodham becomes successful and powerful enough to make a run at the White House, all without riding the coattails of her eminently more charismatic and politically savvier real-life husband.

Sen. Mitt Romney says he doesn’t know where the Republican Party is headed as the president cozies up to dictators, and character doesn’t seem to matter in leaders anymore. The Utah Republican also said during a Center for Strategic and International Studies webcast Tuesday that the U.S. response to COVID-19 has hurt its role as a world leader. “I have no idea what’s going to happen with my party. I represent a very small slice of my party. The party has taken a different course. My party was very strong anti-dictators, anti-authoritarian leaders, anti people like Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin,

If Trump said this you’d never hear the end of it. On the same day Joe Biden accuses President Trump of being a racist — he dropped this line: Joe Biden: Look what he’s doing now. He’s blaming everything on China. He’s blaming everything on the Chinese. And people don’t make a distinction. As you well know from a South Korean and someone from Beijing. They make no distinction. It’s Asia. And that’s the way and he’s just using it as a wedge. Wow. (Tweet/Video)

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Tuesday decried President Donald Trump’s executive order which will exclude Illegal aliens from being counted for purposes of congressional apportioning. “Counting every person in our country through the Census is a principle so foundational that it is written into our Constitution,” Newsom said in a statement. “This latest action by the administration to exclude undocumented immigrants when determining representation in Congress, rooted in racism and xenophobia, is a blatant attack on our institutions and our neighbors.” Earlier Tuesday, President Trump signed the order, saying the memorandum is designed to bar “illegal aliens from the apportionment base following the 2020 Census.”

The socialists are coming—to the state Assembly. A half dozen insurgent candidates in Brooklyn and Queens—some backed by the Democratic Socialists of America—toppled veterans incumbents in Democratic primary races, including close allies of Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-Bronx). With Heastie’s backing, the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee poured more than $400,000 combined to prop up 46-year-veteran Joe Lentol, Felix Ortiz and Walter Mosley in Brooklyn and Aravella Simotas, Michael Den Dekker and Michael Miller in Queens. They all lost. Insurgent Zohran Mamdani, who defeated four-term incumbent Aravella Simotas in the 36 AD covering Astoria, said in a tweet: “Socialism won.”
