We have been told repeatedly by health experts to demonstrate the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine and the other meds prescribed with it we need strict clinical trials. These are studies where some patients receive medication, and some do not. For many healthcare providers, this is a noxious thought if there is evidence to believe a treatment may work.
How do you ethically deny a potential treatment to an eligible patient to conduct a study? So-called double-blind studies described above are the preferred method advocated by Dr. Fauci. These double-blind studies allow people to die in the name of “science” if a drug is effective. They are in the “control group.”

But they never will.
They WANT people dead and dying, it is part of their plan to destroy the country.

Cllinical trials of that malaria medicine is nothing more than another demonrat reason to kill off more of the citizenry. One gets to live; the other gets to die for the demonrat cause of reducing the world's population.

It is not in Fauci's best interests for the numbers to go down. He would be forgotten just as fast as he was discovered.

Sorry boys. The French study isn't scientifically rigorous as in prospective, double-blind, and placebo-controlled. Certainly suggestive but we cannot hang our hats on it's results. It is going to be a while before we can sort out all these study disagreements because their are already competing studies from good scientists which disagree. Damn.

Scientifically there was every reason to believe it would work
Nonsense! The scientific evidence for this combination is one rather weak in vitro study using SARS from August 2005, mixed with some hocus pocus. Why can't reporters read before they write?
Why can't they be honest?

Just like all the European studies (which I believe President Trump requested) that show opening the schools have a positive rather than a negative effect on children. Sad to think that an election in November is more important to the Democrats than the welfare of our children.

It isn't like hydroxychloroquine is a new, unknown medicine. It has been used for decades, for other maladies. It is inexpensive. Just because there has not been the long, exhaustive tests to see if it would kill anyone does not mean it is unsafe to take in this case, even if it truly didn't work.
If it doesn't work for the Chinese virus, then keep on with the other research. No harm, no foul. However, the fact that there was suddenly so much opposition to the drug leads me to believe there are reasons that some people don't want it to work, or be given.
One reason is political. The left needs this pandemic to justify keeping the economy damaged and people locked down. The left believes, for some reason, that they can lay blame on the President. The democrats have already lost that battle.
Another reason is money. Any new drug will be incredibly expensive. Big pharma will make a lot of money and their bought advocates in congress will share in the profit.
Then, there are the ''scientists'' who want to achieve/maintain fame and profit from developing something new- claiming that the old remedy was no good.

Stacey, surely you can't be serious. You want the msm to take responsibility for reporting fake news? If the millennials running the msm were to screw up and take responsibility, then the four stages of left's planned destruction of America wouldn't be successful.
1. Demoralization - check.
2. Destabilization - check.
3. Crisis - check.
4. Normalization of Amerika to Marxism and the new world order - nope.

Forget Fauci. The research about potential treatments will continue and intensify...everyone wants to find a cure.
What I don't understand is how come after 6 months we STILL don't have a clear understanding of how, when, or why the virus originated? Why is that?

i still say there is an interesting backdoor way to check out the effectiveness of the medication.
Examine the records of old people in the NYC area who were taking the medication for other reasons,, compare the rate of Kung Flu of that group, to old people who were not taking the medication for other reasons.
The results could be interesting.

Doctor Fauci is a Quack that challenged President Donald Trump the Great in a public Press Conference. His action resulted in the deaths of thousands. Hydroxychloroquine cuts death rates by 50%, per the Henry Ford Hospital.

So many variables age, diabetes, blood pressure...even rigorous clinical testing may not resolve anything. Fauci hasn't found a vaccine for HIV/ AIDS, the common cold or annual influenza.
If the doctors who are actually treating the infected say something is working I am going to believe them.

Perhaps the reason for claiming Hydroxychloroquine is not effective is because it gets in the way of Big Pharmaceutical companies making huge profits. Claiming that Hydroxychloroquine is dangerous is a lie. It has been around for years as a safe, effective and inexpensive drug for treating malaria. The efforts to outlaw its use while there is nothing better around is criminal! By the way, this is not the first time a drug developed for treating one disease has been found beneficial in treating another.

To #11 actually that is exactly how hydroxycloroquine was discovered as effective. A Dr who treated Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis patients noticed that none came down with the virus. Sometimes it's just a bit of luck that leads you where you want to go.

When picking up a prescription at Costco in Louisiana today, I asked my pharmacist if he was filling hydroxychloroquine prescriptions, or was he calling to challenge the doctors who wrote them. He said, he is required to challenge them by the pharmacy board. He said there is a nation wide shortage, and he is completely out. He can't even supply his regular arthritis customers that have taken this for years. He blames it on the hoarding of people who are not sick.
My first thought was that I read that we sent a lot of our hydroxychloroquine supply to some other country. Who made that decision?!
I have no fear of covid, UNLESS I cannot get the cure. Which I believe is precisely the goal of the swamp.

Just because something hasn't been tested by clinical trials doesn't mean it isn't effective. A lot of medications are discovered because they are found--observationally--to work for something they weren't developed, and tested, for. Examples--Viagra, Restasis, Rogaine. Sometimes there just isn't time to test something--as in a pandemic.

#8 Bullseye! Google Dr. Ivette Lozano. She has been treating patients in her Dallas clinic with hydroxychloroquine and Z-Pac with 100% recovery within 48 hours. Also, Dr. George Fareed in the Imperial Valley. A Harvard Medical graduate, he advocates the HCQ cocktail with azithromycin or doxycycline, and zinc.
Desperate AIDS patients were willing to try any protocol in the 80's. What's the harm in trying? This fake flu has been politically weaponized as a last ditch effort against Trump for years. Expect a second wave of 'deadly' new cases in Sept/October surprise time frame. The Jackass party is so freaking predictable.

The media lied and people died, all because President Trump mentioned that a particular medicine might work as a cure for Kung Flu. Absolutely pathetic!!
