A black woman working on The Ellen DeGeneres Show said she repeatedly dealt with racist comments and microaggressions in yet another damning story relating to the comedian. The former employee was among 11 mostly former staffers who detailed horror stories from the “toxic” work environment at the show in a Buzzfeed article Thursday, pulling the curtain back on the cheery comedic host. The woman, who the outlet didn’t identify by name, said she dealt with racism throughout her year-and-a-half tenure on the show. When she was hired, she said a senior-level producer told her and another black employee,

Whoa! How can this be? A leftist being a racist? I don't believe it. Of course I do. The left are eating their own. It's about time.

The staffers want to be protected from life. Sorry, but we all have had to deal with fellow employees. If you think you are going to be respected, congratulated if you are promoted, liked, or flattered, you have never worked anywhere.

All I needed to see was the word "microagressions" to know I needed to go no further. From Me Too to all whites are racists, I have a strong dislike for the fascism of the cancel culture and those that perpetuate it.

Microaggressions are in the mind of the beholder. If you look for good will you will mostly find it. This staffer sounds like a perpetually angry sort.

the best way to avoid charges of 'microagressions' from black employees is to avoid hiring black employees.
one would think blacks would figure that out.

From my experience in corporate American, it's rare to find any woman work well for another woman.

I always shy away from people with a sharp tongue. It seems Ellen has always thought she could get away with some of the things she says because she then winks and smiles as to say, I'm so cute so I can say things like this! Not one of my favorite people!

More examples of the 'coming for you' reality. No one is exempt from hyperbole and false accusations - no one. Ellen, probably the most successful, openly gay entertainer is not protected. She is, after all, white. Her only recourse is to openly scream 'enough with the bull shiite'. Hoping to placate her accusers will be an admission of guilt and a recipe for losing her career. She has got to FIGHT back angrily.

Not surprising - I've known and worked with gays over the years, and almost every one has a lot of pent-up rage and resentment towards the straight world, and it is particularly true of lesbians. Gay men hide it with a sharp, catty wit, but lesbians are just hostile and aggressive.

So many of these "fine folks" on the surface, are at least Ted Baxter morons in reality, or a lot worse.

Actually, I suspect the "racist comments and microaggressions" are simply the same sort of rude and cranky comments DeGeneres reputedly makes to everyone. It's now impossible to simply dislike someone who happens to be black without triggering self righteous outrage in the person you dislike. Every little frown, wrinkled brow, or other indication of that dislike is interpreted as racism. Blacks have been trained to have a racial chip on the shoulder and to see the world through a lens of racial resentment.

Ellen's reputation has long preceded her.
The depth of her ugliness has barely been scratched.

The only response to anyone complaining about micro aggressions is to tell that person to grow the F up.

As much as I despise Ellen, there is no way to know if these accusations are true. Since the people involved are not naming themselves, then this, like Trump accusers, should be taken for what they are - total fabrication.

Ellen DeGeneres is just a person on TV to me. She has always seemed very funny and likeable. When anybody tries to tarnish the image of someone successful like her, my default reaction is to reject the premise until proven true. Unless and until then, it's Fake News.

Ellen screwed up big time when she went to speak with W Bush at a football game. The leftists were outraged and we see how they get even.

Ellen is no longer useful. Idiot. See ya, Ellen. You've been cancelled; it's just a matter of time.

Not a fan of Ellen, so I don't watch her. If a person didn't like working for her, quit. Are we looking at a class action suit here?
