The “Silent Majority” comes up a lot these days, often in the context of a warning to Democrats about an electrified coalition of under-the-radar voters motivated to support President Trump by the left’s culture war. It’s true Democrats aren’t helped politically by their proximity to radical leftism, although I’m not sure I buy the argument it’ll cost them the Oval Office in 2020.
Whether the Silent Majority is enough to swing an election, it’s certainly no longer enough to swing the culture. If such a group exists, it needs to speak up. I say that with deep empathy for everyone fearful of losing a job, friend, or relative if

I strongly disagree. All good people in culture, news gathering, education and entertainment were already cancelled long time ago, so I would not object for remainder of them to keep cancelling each other.
I would not object if people would like to defund or disband police in their towns and cities - it is their choice let them have it.
I would appreciate if all TV programs and all newspapers remove all non-African-American personal, and show only movies with African-American leads. And I am sure it would not make either newspapers or programming worse because it is simply impossible to be worse than now.
I would appreciate if every company concerned with diversity would replace all corporate officers and board members with African-Americans and again it may be beneficial for the business.

We lost the culture war when corporate America decided to join with the leftists. Its not that people arent hacked off, its that they are afraid of losing their jobs or will be victimized if they openly disagree.
The beauty of the polling place is that your vote is secret.
If we the people actually voted on cultural issues rather than be silenced and coerced, todays culture would look much different.

Conservatives want to be left alone. They want their lives and traditions generally undisturbed. They are generally live and let live people. They go along to get along. Fly a flag on holidays, maybe a few more along the sidewalk on the 4th of July. Chant U-S-A at appropriate times. They do not start revolutions...they are conservative of what they have.
Today's problems are largely the product of bad choices, many championed by conservatives and exploited by liberals. Let's start with values taught in public schools. No one ever considered what those values would entail. Now conservatives know...and they aren't happy with the outcomes as their kids come home with "values" inimical to the home environment.
You say you want a counterrevolution...

It is time to speak up. I've taken to searching out news rooms and talk show contacts to supply information which is buried. Political talk is very in tune. Not so, local TV news rooms, or networks, or sports talks. I include sports talkers because they are the most blinded in a time when schools are considering cancelling classes, teams, seasons and when the NFL remains the biggest event in broadcasting, followed by college football. Not to mention the jobs affiliated with each.
I encourage you to get in these peoples faces when all they tout is "cases" in an attempt to panic us all.
I love The Federalist, but weren't they themselves cancelled by social media unless they agreed to remove their comments section ? I see it's not returned yet.

I detest the phrase "silent majority" as much as I detest "compassionate conservative". Bering silent and compassionate has put is in the exact position we are in now. If you think things are bad now, win or lose in Nov, things will be much worse. The GOP has the POTUS, the Senate, and 5-4 majority in the SC and yet, here we are. DT winning in Nov will trigger more madness from the Left. DT losing in Nov will trigger the Left to treat ALL of America exactly like they treat Seattle, Portland, NYC, Chicago, etc etc. As long as we continue staying silent and continue our compassion for our enemy, we will lose our freedoms. Our Founders were willing to die for this Country. We are not even willing to lose our job for our freedom.

Re #2 The ballot is no longer secret. We were pretty much forced to use mail-in ballots this election (Kentucky). We had to sign the envelope and sign the ballot. That is not a secret ballot. From now on I will stand in line at the fairgrounds to vote! And put my ballot in the vote counter.

The personal is the political. That warning shot was fired by the feminists over a generation ago. We simply didn't pay heed. On how many occasions in the past thirty years when I brought up this issue I have heard protests or I was chastised for being "too political" or always obsessed with such issues. The turkeys have arrived to roost.

Remember the bumper sticker, "What if they had a war and nobody came"? (or something like that) What if they call to cancel, and we all say NO! The "BUY-cott" in response to the attacks on Goya is essentially that saying NO!
And, people who are victims need to sue. There should be massive lawsuits. Every business destroyed by BLM/antifa should sue. This is the only way to get through to organizers who have taken advantage of the citizenry unwilling to fight back and --yeah-- RESIST!

The author gives examples of how those who see cultural manipulation can push back. We of the Silent Majority have become afraid to speak up for our side? Too timid?
