Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday he will approve Democrats’ request to invite Robert Mueller to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee after the former special counsel published an op-ed in The Washington Post criticizing President Donald Trump’s decision to commute the prison sentence for Roger Stone. “Apparently Mr. Mueller is willing – and also capable – of defending the Mueller investigation through an oped in the Washington Post,” Graham wrote on Twitter. “Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have previously requested Mr. Mueller appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about his investigation.” “That request will be granted,” he added.

Good. Mueller will sit there like a dementia patient, won't be able to answer any questions, and will remove any doubt that he has his faculties.

This will backfire bigly on the dems. Who is on this committee that will give a grilling to the old swamp buzzard? Two questions Mr. Mueller, was there any evidence of the Russians colluding with Trump and is there any evidence that the democratic servers were hacked by the Russians.

The whole Jeffrey Epstein affair is still in the air and I have questions. Like why are some Republicans and supposed conservatives so willing to fold to the Democrats. Bob Braun, Ron Johnson, Mitch McConnell, James Langford, John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Mitt Romney and Chief Justice John Roberts are some names that come to mind. I remember Craig Livingstone and the stolen FBI files. Do we have Republicans who are in office because they can be blackmailed and as such provide cover for Democrats? A few years before he died Charles Krauthammer said that Washington had become a lawless town. We fumble around, trying to figure out why our leaders do some of the nutty things they keep doing but we could very well be a country in which the powerful political, judicial and media establishment is made up of criminals, perverts and other knaves.

I honestly think Graham was genius on this move. Have you ever heard Mueller talk? Now that the facts are out there, when he is testifying, the Republicans are going to make him show his true mentally-unstable lying side. They will turn every question into a long statement of the evil and illegal things the Demon-Rats did, and the MSM will not be able to hide it. The Demon-Rats never wanted Mueller to testify. They wanted to demand he get to testify and expected the Republicans to deny it. That way they could keep up their charade that "Trump is trying to hide something through his Republican minions in the Senate" . I guarantee that the Demon-Rats are in panic mode right now!!!

Andrew Weissmann, a top prosecutor on special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, is seeking a re-do of sorts in the investigation, saying in an op-ed Tuesday that Roger Stone should be hauled before a grand jury to answer questions about his interactions with President Donald Trump in 2016. Writing in The New York Times, Weissmann also pushed a false claim about the criminal charges against Stone, whose prison sentence Trump commuted on Friday. Weissmann, who is currently an MSNBC analyst, asserted that Stone was convicted on charges of “lying to Congress about the coordination between the Trump 2016 campaign, Mr. Stone, WikiLeaks and Russia.”

It’s been over 11 years since I stepped into my mother’s kitchen back on Long Island, but it all came flooding back the other day when I pulled out her small, olive green metal recipe box. Our kitchen was off the living room at the back of the first floor. Standing at the kitchen sink, you could look over the backyard, to the rusty basketball hoop on the garage roof and our baseball field just over the forsythia bushes. My mom called us from that spot countless times. I wish I had a picture of her standing watch at that window, but it’s probably best remembered in my mind.

Stone was prosecuted and convicted because he committed federal crimes. He remains a convicted felon, and rightly so,” Mueller added.
