ABC News White House correspondent Jonathan Karl ripped White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany in an op-ed on Monday, claiming her briefings were “political shows” rather than opportunities to provide information to the public.Karl, who wrote a book disparaging the administration called, “Front Row at the Trump Show,” complained in his Washington Post piece that McEnany regularly reprimands “the media” and that she would not directly answer a question about President Donald Trump’s criticisms of NASCAR.Joining CNN’s Brian Stelter Monday, Karl, who is also head of the White House Correspondents Association, doubled down on his piece and used the appearance to future denigrate McEnany’s performances.“ I believe very firmly that

The media comes unarmed to a battle of wits. Then they whine that Kayleigh won't accept their fake narratives and answers with all the positive things Trump is doing. They don't realize that for them to stage her as uncooperative, they have to air what she is saying. Sure they denigrate her for saying it but people are hearing what she says, sometimes on topics that the media would rather have ignored.

It's more like the "Media Mutt Show" in these pressers. These enablers ask a multitude of what they think to be salient questions...presumably to report to their readers or viewers...yet when you actually compare the questions and the answers that they got at a Monday presser....rarely do you find any of it in their Tuesday releases. They're only there to impress their bosses...not to serve their target audiences. I've fact-checked three of of most recalcitrant of the lot. They're a joke.

Karl seems to be under the illusion that in the 21st century, with immediate access to White House press conferences, Q&A’s and speeches, the public still needs the likes of him and Acosta and other dim bulb twits in the press corps to explain to all of us the meaning of what was said. It’s been an outdated, worthless and abused approach by the press for a long time. These people are dinosaurs; relics of the past and they, who report the latest news, seem to be the last to know.

From the article:: “ I believe very firmly that the White House press secretary is a public servant, his or her salary paid for by the taxpayers, has a job to inform the public by informing the reporters that the public uses to get information,” Karl said, noting he’s covered four different presidents and around 14 different press secretaries. Why would anyone believe they could get information out to the public by involving the press?

Pennsylvania State University recently removed a tweet welcoming conservative perspectives after the school received backlash on social media and complaints from students. This intolerance does not surprise conservatives familiar with our higher education institutions. Our colleges and universities, especially the elite ones, indoctrinate more students into anti-American sentiments every year, all the while happily accepting billions of dollars in federal funding. But higher education faces an era of high financial instability due to the unsure state of social distancing and the probable enrollment drop induced by a baby bust. Colleges are begging for extra financial assistance during these unsure times. Conservatives, especially those in the executive branch of the federal government,

The National Football League celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. This should be a time of self-congratulation for the brutal sport, which has no similar counterpart outside the United States. The NFL's megaprofits dwarf those of other professional sports in the U.S. The Super Bowl, not the World Series, is America's national sports event. The league has survived all sorts of crises in the past. It was one of the first professional sports to integrate its teams, doing so in the 1920s. But the integration unfortunately ceased, and the NFL didn't reintegrate until the mid-'40s, becoming one of the last sports leagues to embrace fully a racially-blind meritocracy.

Three Spirit Airlines employees were battered in a wild melee at a South Florida airport over a delayed flight, according to a report. The brawl captured on video broke out Tuesday night at a gate for a Philadelphia-bound flight from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, news station WPLG reported. The employees suffered minor injuries when three passengers “became combative following a delayed flight,” the airline said. In the clip, several women were seen hurling items at the workers before going behind the counter and attacking at least one of the employees.
