As America’s basketball superstars head into the National Basketball Association’s isolation “bubble” at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, for their delayed and shortened season, some have shared tone-deaf complaints on social media about their new living conditions.
Players are required to quarantine for two weeks before the league’s July 30 relaunch, meaning they must limit contact with others and will have all meals delivered directly to their hotel rooms. Nearly immediately after entering “the bubble,” players began sharing their complaints on social media about everything from the food and WiFi to their resort lodging accommodations.

Basketball may be the most corrupt sport of all, after boxing and horse racing. The NBA is a sewer. I don't swim there.

These geniuses are killing the goose that laid the golden egg and I love watching them do it. They are so thoroughly indoctrinated in the religion of entitlement that they have lost all self-awareness. Good for them. Go for it, you poor, pitiful, put upon whining babies. These sports franchises have created these little monsters and I hope to watch them all crash and burn. While my response is not rooted in envy, it most certainly Is fueled by the sheer audacity of their ungratefulness.

After attendance and the TV ratings crash for the NBA and NFL this season, they'll be lucky to be staying at the Motel 6... And we won't be leaving a light on for them either.

“The Lakers’ LeBron James compared his luxury suite to heading into a prison sentence,”
Consider that a warmup to a REAL prison, Mr. James.
If I have just 1% of his vastly overblown wealth (480 mil and counting), I’d have my mortgage paid off and sit pretty the rest of my life!
Count your blessings, sir! It’ll soon be gone. Just ask all the other athletes who blew through their fortunes with no thought for tomorrow.

I will proudly take to my grave the fact that I have never watched an NBA game in my life, not even on television. Though I really enjoy NCAA Basketball. It should be obvious that the only value that the NBA provides to our society is that over the years it has provided employment for a significant number of blacks, and as such, without it black unemployment figures would increase.

Just quit watching their games or buying from the sponsors. The hell with them.

Bird and Magic revived interest in the NBA back in the 80s, but I'm not sure that any human alive could pull off that feat today.

LeBron has never come across as too bright. Of course, people are willing to pay him millions to throw a ball around, so he's got that.

I've stayed at the Gran Destino, and I can promise you it is a great hotel. Only an idiot would compare it to a prison sentence.

I’m not a sports person, so very little of this affects me. But, I imagine to a sports fan, what’s happened to the industry must be so heartbreaking.

I have not watched the NBA since the Larry Byrd era. The players used to play basketball. Now they have multiple baby mommas, millions of dollars, and do nothing but complain.

The resort is the newest on property. It is DVC (Disney Vacation Club, the Disney time share, we are DVC though we have been rethinking that) so it is well appointed and features many 1,2, and 3 bedroom suites. The penthouse suites are downright luxurious and are thousands a night. These "elistists" are so detached from normal people.
WHY do people STILL watch PRO SPORTS?! Get off the drug! Spend your time improving yourself, not watching other men do stuff you can't!

More intrigue from the National 'rim hangers' like warlord LeBron James. I don't watch it and I don't care all the misery in the world should be piled on them.

This is a 'window' into the mind's of some tribes. There is nothing that can be done to appease them, nothing, They revert to form and go to war with each other. ( Hello Chicago)

There are some quality individuals who play basketball. They know how to do their own laundry, cook their own food and they can be downright entertaining in person and on social media. Some are grateful for their gifts in life. It is the few that don't do any of those simple tasks who are the outliers and they get the majority of sound byte attention from the drive by media. Basketball is a sport that no longer has leaders of the caliber and quality of a John Wooden. Can anyone imagine that Lebron James would devise a pyramid of success? Hard to imagine, or simply impossible to imagine isn't it?

Seems to be an example of upbringing. Since they were good basketball players as kids, they were coddled through high school, definitely aided through college if they attended. Now most lead the high life and wonder why we don't have sympathy for them? Why aren't they involved in helping struggling black kids instead of setting a prescident of me me me?

For all the damage Disney has done to the American culture, I agree with the spoiled players; Disney sucks. That said, if we have to put up with quarantine crap and adjusting our lives, what makes these punks think they don't have to as well? Shut up and eat your meals in your expensive rooms. Maybe you'll think twice the next time you talk down to US about what we need to do. I'd say shut up and play ball, but that's about to come to an end, and it will be your own doing, LeBron! Stay woke, go broke.
