According to the poll conducted by the Washington based thinktank the Democracy Institute, President Trump is neck and neck with his rival Joe Biden on 47 percent. However, Mr Trump would win in the electoral college system by 309 to 229 delegates because he is on course to win the crucial swing states including Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin where he outpolls Vice President Biden by 48 percent to 44 percent. The findings come as the US President went to the iconic Mount Rushmore to make a speech attacking “the angry mobs” who want to erase America’s history.

I hope it is true. But we need to continue to campaign hard. The "refs" (media) are trying to throw the game. I expect more tricks to try to drag ol' Joe past the finish line. Plus, we have to retake the House and keep the Senate, especially since the Republican leaders of the latter are doing nothing to maintain their majority.

"And of greater concern for the Democrats is that Mr Trump is still polling strong with ethnic minority voters – 35 percent for black voters and 34 percent for Hispanics."
Thus the reason for the "grassroots" /S/ protests. The Dems cant win without 95% of the black vote.
"While 77 percent of Trump voters are “enthusiastic” compared to 43 percent of Biden voters, 66 percent of Trump voters would not admit how they are voting to a friend or relative compared to just one third of Biden backers."
I have yet to hear anyone gushing over Biden. His only "plus" is that he isnt Trump.

Black Lives Matter is an oxymoron.
Since black lives do NOT matter to BLM, the whole thing is a farrago of nonsense.
It is an excuse to burn, loot, and murder.
The majority in this nation are not represented by the Lame Stream Media. The LSM represent a handful of extremely sensitive snowflakes, Harvard educated, who break down in tears when they are not agreed with.
Trump speaks for many of us. He does not speak for the outraged militants who want a Communist Utopia. Why don't they just go to North Korea or China?
And leave us alone!

Though I am not into counting my chickens too often, I think that people are fed up with DC, BLM and all the blue state terrorists masked as governors and mayors right now. They have been exposed for what they are, and if 1968 was any indication, this could be a blowout of epic proportions. But we have to say NO to mail in voting. Or we are just giving the WH to the democrats, possibly forever.

The poll was done to send Democrats a warning.
Expect the rioting to decline quickly. The Covid-19 fear-mongering will quickly ratchet up to 11. Democrat operative, Dr. Fauci, will lead the charge

If the BLM "protests" are helping Trump get re-elected, I'll put on a full face mask go loot the local Target store. Who's with me (click like :-)?

Why is this shocking? It’s common sense. People don’t want to live in crime-ridden shiiteholes.

The poll is of likely voters, good. But it is a month old (June 3-5). I hope the numbers are still correct.

I think Ohio could be put in the Trump category too. When my formerly democrat son and wife are gung ho for Trump (and his whole shop of about 30 men + boss) it tells me the working people are Trump voters and will carry the state.

I was speaking with a Detective in the Louisville Metro Poliice. His main comment was downtown Louisville is a war zone every night with the (surprise, surprise) Democrat Mayor doing nothing...except keeping the reports out of the newspaper and off the television.

I don’t think he is going to have a problem. All you hear is shouting from the left, his voters are keeping quiet. It’s 1968 all over again. His biggest problem is he has to get money to the unemployed without it turning into a left wing wish list.

My sister-in-law, 100% Latino from Mexico, loves president Trump. Hispanics in our church are for him too.
Everybody loves him. He represents the real America - where the true patriots live.
No sweat - he will win astoundingly - more than in 2016.

I think scribbling "BLACK LIVES MATTER" in Manhattan and also in front of the White House was one of the biggest mistakes the Dems have made. First of all, it was so Junior High to do such a thing. Secondly, the Business owners in Manhattan are furious already with the Mayor for not protecting their property. Now he spends money painting the street where they are trying to re-open their Businesses. They know they are not going to bring back the customers they are used to with writing such as that in front of their stores! The average person, like me, is watching. We see these Democrat Mayors kissing the Rear Ends of the Thugs and Ringleaders who are involved in the Looting and Burning of Stores. We see the mayors doing NOTHING to save the businesses. Nothing! Of course Trump is going to win. Does anyone really think Biden would do more than those Democrat Mayors? No Way! He would let them run rampant, looting and burning. We see what is happening and we want Trump to Stop it! If he has to call in the Guard, and clash with the Governors, we would applaud him! He has common sense. It's WHY we elected him and why we will do it again!

Only a moron would think that rampant anarchy by avowed Marxists and the Democrat party's surrender to the socialists would make people want to vote for more. The rush to buy guns is a big clue - people fear what might be coming in a Biden administration. Every new gun purchaser is a possible vote for PDJT.

Exactly right, #21. I bought my first gun in 2000 just in case Gore won the election. Guns sales are up 82% over sales at this time last year.

This election is not just for the White House. We must keep control of the senate (Need 54 with the R-label to make up for the RINO's from Maine, Utah, and Alaska), and take a majority of the House so we don't have to put up with Pelosi and her cronies. Then, save the country by passing sensible immigration laws and require voter ID for federal elections. Without complete majority, these needed laws will not be passed.

I agree with #14 and #18. I was in HS in '68 and I clearly remember that people were very, very sick of the violence and burning. And I lived in a small town in a low population part of Florida at the time, but people were not interested in hearing from people setting fires and looting. People want a sane, lawful, orderly society, and the Dems are supporting ("selling") anarchy, chaos, violence, fires and looting. That will not sell with many.
Even with Wallace taking 5 states that would have gone for Nixon, Nixon got 301 Electoral College votes to 191 for Humphrey, and Wallace with 46. If Wallace's votes had gone to Nixon, he would have been at 347, well short of Reagan's 1984 record of 525 EC votes.

For every person who admits that alarm over BLM violence will drive them to vote Trump, there are ten more who feel the same way but are too scared to say it. This WILL show up on Election Day. There are plenty of BLM masks going round but how many do you know that will wear a MAGA hat in public or to work? Remember the Left Media gave Hillary a 99% chance of winning on the morning of 11/08/16. The more and longer they remain deluded the better.

Huge Silent Minority in Dem. party. Tradesmen, business owners, church goers in flyover country who traditionally pulled the D lever like daddy did aren't going to vote for the destruction of liberty, property and family that Biden represents. Do they answer Yes when the pollster asks if they're voting for him? Of ourse, they don't want to be sttacked by the woke mob. They are silent...and waiting.

He needs a cushion of at LEAST 30% to outweigh the voter fraud that we're going to see this fall.
