Attorney General William Barr on Wednesday announced the launch of Operation Legend, an effort to crack down on spiking crime in American cities like Kansas City, where four-year-old LeGend Taliferro was fatally shot in his bed last month.
Federal law enforcement agencies will work with state and local law enforcement to help tackle crime in U.S. cities.
“President Trump has made clear: The federal government stands ready and willing to assist any of our state and local law enforcement partners across the nation responding to violent crime. Operation Legend will combine federal and local resources to combat the disturbing uptick in violence by surging federal agents

#1, The DOJ and other federal departments are making arrests. They are going after people that destroy our statues and property that are Federal. As of the looting, burning, rioting, killing in cities and states, that not Federal but the responsibility of the governor, mayor, etc. President Trump offered assistance and so far they have refused. All these cities and states are ran by the democrats.
Here's an article that the DOJ is making arrests. They have also formed a task force that is going after Antifa and yes, BLM monsters. BLM is not innocent. They have lots of foreign money coming in to support their destruction.

Instead of assigning more manpower to state problems, put some deep staters in orange jumpsuits!

This whole thing will be shut down when they realize they’re arresting too many black people.

Sad that blue state governors and mayors can be expected to resist this effort. Death of their citizens is secondary to removing President Trump from office.

So now we can expect Dawn raids on Suspects homes, offices, storage, etc.?
If it ever does happen, charge them as Terrorists and give them an option: transfer to GITMO; or lifelong exile to Jeffrey Epstein's offshore island. There they can be free to built the "Utopia" they want to force on the rest of us.
Unfortunately, in this Judicial climate, a suspect must be proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt before they are even arrested. That is, unless they are U.S. loving Patriots.

I am sure it will be as effective as Barr's crackdown against crime in DC.

The only thing that will help stop their crime mentality is the return of morals, not just sexual, and the family unit as defined in God' Holy Bible. All other races are having the same problems it is not just them. Satan is and will continue wining in his war against God our Father with the help of our government court rulings. While you cannot legislate and make people obey moral laws you can stop legislating against Christian religion even though many practicing Christians also do not have morals as we are all sinners in one way or another. Weak in the flesh.

This will be a tough job. Accepting federal help will be properly viewed as a massive failure on the part of local governments. Public Safety should be the higest priority for local governments.but it clearly is not. Local government support for policies such as defunding law enforcement is a callous ruse in the attempt to shift blame to law enforcement agencies rather than where the blame truely exists. Democrat run cities are devolving into chaos.

Seems to me that going after the bottom level criminal is like going after the drug dealer on the street corner. What they need to do is take down the top dog, "Mr Big".

Let's federalize everything. Murder is a local crime, punishable by state law. The Federal government has no legitimate hand in this except to grandstand. Hold the mayors, councils, chiefs of police and governors accountable. These politicians (yes, including the chiefs) have all the necessary resources, but not the will to act. That's a local issue, too. Aren't there some bigger fish to fry, starting in Washington, DC?

I'll wait and see what happens.
The local news said that this was coming to KC in the next few weeks. We'll see what actually changes, if anything.

It seems to me that it is another Republican idiocy: you cannot save one who does not want to be saved. And people living (by their own will) in the big cities, clearly do not want to be saved. Let them learn how to save themselves.

100 normal Americans with hick'ry sticks would accomplish far more in terms of deterring a bunch of trust fund communists.
