Texas reported more than 10,000 additional Covid-19 cases Tuesday, a record-breaking daily surge in cases as the state responds to a growing outbreak and an increase in hospitalizations.
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission reported 10,028 new cases, which surpasses the state’s previous record of nearly 8,260 cases set on July 4.
There were 9,268 people in the state’s hospitals with Covid-19 as of Tuesday, another daily record. Public health experts watch hospitalizations closely because it can indicate how severe an outbreak is in an area.

At this rate, by the end of the year everyone will have it and we can all just go back to work.

BS!! Texas hasn't figured out the difference between the two different tests, one says you had it, one says who have it. Their records are confused!

It is because of the stupidity of the bean counters!!! If one person tests positive and he has 10 people who were exposed to him, there are now 11 (presumed) new cases. What if employee A with covid had 10 co-workers and employee B with covid names 12 co-workers. But employee C works with both men and is not positive. Doesn't matter, C got counted as two new covid cases. It is insanity!

Not sure everyone is aware, the Tests are being multiple counted for each person that does one then another and another. The Spurs Basketball team gets tested every other day (inside knowledge). I'm sure that is the tip of the iceberg. That means that a lot of people are adding to the count and it's all fake BS.
The real number is how many people are actually dying, and even that is a scam...did they die FROM the virus or die of other causes AND they just happened to have the virus. Hospitals make a load of cash reporting actual Virus deaths, what do you think they will report? The below link shows current actual Deaths/state...they are basically a small percent, less than 1...so why is this now another CRISIS? Ask yourself, the politicians want CONTROL over you, they also want to make Pres. Trump look bad. All this is a SCAM to do just that...WAKE UP Folks!

A friend told me Texas has now updated their reporting methods. If someone tests positive it isn't just one case, but recorded as 17. I have no idea if it's true, but if so it's outrageous!
My niece had to be tested because her boss tested positive (she is negative). I told my sister to watch and see if they are added as "positive" cases by association.

In direct proportion to the rapidly increasing number of people being tested. Nothing here to worry about. Death rates are declining. Move along.

Because they are counting people who think they may have had contact with a person who has CV19. No proof needed. So if I’m in the supermarket in my forced face diaper and a woman in the same aisle with her face diaper on sneezes, I can go to the ER and be declared positive, even without a test.
CTH had an article about this a couple of days ago. Complete fraud.

Abbott is either a complete fool or he’s secretly a never Trumper. #7 nailed it. Dims are praying for more shutdowns and they are stuffing the ballot boxes with fraudulent overcounting. In any case, the deaths are going down at the same time.

Texas changed their counting methods. I read it in two different places yesterday. They are counting cases that test positive to have it now and positives for antibodies for having it in past. If a neighbor has it and drives by your house with windows closed you are a probable positive, counted as positive. If you wake up and have headache or low fever - positive - no test needed. Somehow one person in a neighborhood being positive could result in 17 other people in the neighborhood being counted as covid cases with no one else ever catching it or even having a test.

#10, Abbott is neither. He's a traditional Texas democrat pretending to be a Republican. He has declared a state of emergency and in Texas that means laws and protections are suspended. He plays soft on the EOs and then lets county judges and mayors bring the hammer down and says nothing. He has endorsed the RINO candidate in our state rep primary and is now on TV saying let's all pull together. How inspiring.

Dallas ICUs are about at full CAPACITY. Going to have to shut down elective procedures shortly if Covid ICU cases don’t slack off.
This will result in post-PPP layoffs of non-hospital nurses, clinic staff, etc. NOT good for our healthcare systems - they will go BROKE w/o elective procedures paying the bills, or continued massive federal funding of healthcare systems.

How Texas is counting: 1 positive test + all close contacts = cases. So, yeah. EXPONENTIAL growth.
Here's the Collin Co TX council meeting where it is all explained. Start at 15:26. I had to listen 5 times to really believe what I was hearing. ADDITiONALLY -- death gets counted as WITH, not from. So a GSW, stroke, car accident that dies with, not from, gets counted as a CoVid death. Video, + links to the docs.
I found all this online June 29. I started alerting huge Twitter accounts and finally journalists picked it up starting the 1st or so. This whole charade has me so furious.

To those wondering about the fraudulent inflation of Texas cases by 17 (or 15), It is real.
I hate to use this link, due to it being from Alex Jones, but it is the only one I can find now. Three days ago I saw about ten different sources, including one official one from the Texas Government , but all the others have apparently been scrubbed from the internet.

Since it is known that COVID is rampant in Mexico, chances are there are a lot of the new cases are coming in from across the borderline from Mexico to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona as there are huge numbers of Mexicans and US citizens living just South of the borderline who have the documents necessary to pass through official ports of entry into the USA. Once inside the USA, if they are sick they head for a hospital to seek COVID treatment.

I am of the belief that there are thousands of false positives as thousands without symptoms are positive in FL.

Quit issuing these scrap numbers with no definition, no names mentioned, no procedures disclosed, no questions allowed, opposing opinions never mentioned. By the way, there is no person named Texas that speaks for all the people of Texas, none of whom have been asked.

The record was "broken" because many Texas counties did not report over the July 4 weekend, so the total of 10028 includes a backlog of 3-4000 unreported cases from Saturday and Sunday. Deceptive reporting or sloppy reporting?
