There is no epidemic of fatal police shootings against unarmed Black Americans
Ideally officers would never need to take anyone's life. But the data on police killings doesn't support reducing or abolishing law enforcement.
Heather Mac DonaldOpinion contributor
The video of George Floyd’s tragic death under the knee of a Minneapolis police officer has led many to ask whether it represents the tip of an iceberg of police brutality. For centuries, United States law enforcement was interwoven with slavery and segregation, and that memory cannot be easily erased. But the evidence does not support the charge that biased police are systematically killing Black Americans in fatal shootings.

Facts don't matter to the MOB. Or the MSM. Or democrats. The truth just gets in the way of the agenda.

It's all horse pucky....the cops on the street must win...whatever it takes (this isn't England where pursuits are cancelled and officers aren't normally armed)...maybe the knee was applied to long to Floyd, but that being said, he was a released felon, tried to pass a phony twenty, and was hopped up on drugs, and refused to cooperate...that alone makes him a real danger to an officer...you don't want to be treated badly, unhappy with being arrested, just go with the flow and straighten it out in court....that's why all the 'sharks' are driving Beemers and Mercedes....

There is absolutely NO evidence that there is "systemic racism" in America. That is a blatant and easily refuted lie. The word "systemic" means encompassing the entire body, or pervasive. A nation that elects a black person as President (!)...twice...and has mayors, city councils, police chiefs, etc., is inarguably NOT systemically racist. This lie should be challenged every singly time it is uttered.

Ten times as many blacks are actually murdered by other blacks in a WEEKEND in the one city of Chicago as there are unarmed blacks killed by police in a year. This whole thing is a massive fraud.
And never, ever lose sight of this hard fact: Unarmed does not mean harmless, or 'not dangerous'. There are more murders each year committed by unarmed people, using 'personal weapons', than there are people murdered with ALL rifles. And the scary looking 'assault weapons' are a small fraction of all rifles.
"Personal weapons" is the violence reporting terminology for fists, elbows, feet and other body parts.

People who claim systemic racism are actually advocating FOR it: whites are to be discriminated against wherever they are, while blacks are favored in college placement, job hiring, criminal prosecution, and public welfare. The Democrats want to keep them dependent upon them, but never to truly advance.

Unfortunately, you cant reason with a mob or true believers, whatever the cause. The facts will be ignored, minimized, the author attacked, 2500 what about's offered up, but no one will actually dispute the facts.
Facts are only useful for convincing those with an open mind.
In the meantime, que up the calls for a boycott of USA Today and for the firings of anyone who allowed the article. Oh.....and the death threats against Heather.

If these mobs are allowed by the police to continue this lawless destruction of public and private property by the bLM mob, it won't be the police that are shooting unarmed bLACKs, it will be disgusted citizens.

#3, yes there is systemic racism.
It is in college admissions which favor minorites.
It is in hiring practices which set quotas for minorities and women.
It is in promotion practices which set favor minorities and women, often with quotas that are required to be met.
Yes, systemic racism is real, practiced nearly everywhere.....AGAINST white males.

It really doesn't matter. The narrative is set, the movement in motion...facts and logic are extraneous to social justice. Besides, this "crisis" is, like all of them the past few years, Trump-centric.

The biggest systemic problem is a culture of neglect of the young in the black inner city and only they can resolve it. I don't see these problems in the two parent black families in suburbia.
