'We are ONE America': Ted Cruz
blasts NFL's reported plans
to play 'Black national anthem'

Calls to boycott the NFL trended Friday on social media following reports that the league plans to play the song known as the Black national anthem before all Week 1 regular season games. Multiple media outlets, including The Associated Press and the Undefeated, cited sources saying that “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing,” known as the Black national anthem, would be played or performed before the first week’s games, immediately before “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The hashtag #BoycottNFL trended on Friday morning as some Republican lawmakers and others condemned the idea, saying it promoted the concept of a nation divided by race.

Anyone who isn't racist should certainly see something like this as racist and divisive, worst, and at the least, pandering. It's two Americas. As long as democrats systemically kill black babies or dupe blacks into killing their babies (inside or outside the womb, according to a black plantation master), there's no way black population will rise above 20% any time soon. Anything given to blacks (just like everyone else) by pandering, can be taken away or swapped out as swiftly as given, or the givers can demand something much more valuable in return. The old saying, be careful what you wish for comes to mind. Leftists are giving blacks something that seems valuable, but it's not. When they start handing over control of their wealth and power to blacks, then they might say they are doing something noble or worthwhile to fight against their racism. This right here produces nothing good for black people or the country. James Weldon Johnson, head of the NAACP and writer of the the poem dubbed the black national anthem when put to song b Johnson's brother, was appointed to a couple positions by one Teddy Roosevelt. Don't we want to destroy all those racists on Mt. Rushmore? Just saying. . .

How about Annette Funicello's "Pineapple Princess"? I've always liked that song. Or maybe a medley of Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits. Yes - - lots of possibilities for the NFL to explore.

Not to be nasty but simply using common sense, shouldn't there be affirmative action for Whites and Hispanics in the NFL and in pro basketball???????? These sports are almost totally dominated by Black athletes. (Could it be because they are talented or is it because of their color? The answer is obvious re: the talent but the argument never seems to go the other way, re: making sure there are "enough" whites and Hispanics and Indians and..............no matter whether they are good or bad. And a BLACK anthem just solidifies the point tat there are not equal numbers of other races in these sports. What total nonsense all this is!)

The NFL will be sorry when the only fans in the stands are BLM, Antifa, and other violent scum. The players will hate it too, when they are beaten, stabbed or shot for losing a game, or missing a critical point! Of course, admission to the games must be free, since Capitalism is bad and socialism is good. Vendors must give away their food and swag, or they will be beaten and looted. What a wonderful future the NFL is making for itself! The No Fans League will be cancelled.

No one should watch the NFL, the NBA or NASCAR again. They without doubt have aligned themselves politically with an anti American party. A party of communists, who could care less about black lives while their true agenda is to destroy our country and our freedom. And Roger Goodell, a complete moron, approves of this. It is beyond sickening what is happening to our great country. And remember, it is they who are the true racist, not us. We have nothing to feel guilty about. Got it.

It's been 4 years or longer since I've viewed an NFL game maybe by accident at a glance in our favorite eatery and sports bar. Not really there for the sports unless it's baseball. I won't hear the black anthem because I won't see it the NFL and NBA doesn't exist to me. The NFL is just pandering and spreading more hate with this decision. This should make half time performances for the Super Bowl interesting with entire entertainment by black thug rappers. So long Paul McCartney , Aerosmith and Elton John hello Snoop Dog and NWA. Who remembers when Tim Tebow with the Denver Broncos was chastised by the league for taking a knee in prayer we've come a long way since then. Boycott the NFL and NBA with their white hating spokes person LeBron James.

The Conservative Twins - who are black btw have an hysterical video about this on YouTube. They covered many of the same points that Ted Cruz made and were highly entertaining as they were doing so. They indicated that they will be taking a knee when and if the "anthem" should be played within earshot. They also nailed the NAACP for pushing racism in order to benefit financially from it. Very few black organizations actually want racism to end. If it did the members of these organizations would have to seek an actual job. Anyway these guys are very smart, very funny and extremely entertaining. When you have the time give them a listen.

Well if we're going to start getting all original nationalities, they're going to have to play a lot of "anthems". How 'bout the Mexican national anthem, the British national anthem, the German national anthem, the Spanish national anthem, the French national anthem, the Japanese national anthem, China's national anthem ... etc. etc. That'll take up pretty much all game time so, there won't be time for a game.

It is dumping any association with John Muir, the “father of the national parks” who founded the Sierra Club back in 1892.

If it were up to Joe Biden, the national shutdown implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic would never end. Of course, Biden didn’t bother to elaborate on this proposed mandate or explain how his administration would enforce it — because he knows that such a heavy-handed restriction would be legally dubious and almost impossible to enforce.

The summer of 2020 has been a summer defined by agitation. What started in Minnesota following the police killing of George Floyd spread quickly across the nation. This past week, Kenosha, Wisconsin, became the latest flashpoint, as protesters clashed with police and armed vigilantes over the police shooting of 29-year-old Jacob Blake. One of those vigilantes has been charged with killing two protesters and injuring another. But another Midwestern city — my city — was the center of attention three weeks ago. In 2016, the Vatican was pulling for Hillary Clinton. Just days before the presidential election, Pope Francis renewed his criticism of politicians who speak about erecting “walls.” This led Slate and other publications to run such headlines as “It Sure Sounds Like Pope Francis Doesn’t Think Americans Should Vote for Trump.” Several Francis-friendly prelates ran interference for Hillary Clinton. San Jose’s bishop, Patrick McGrath, wrote a letter to his flock in which he said that Donald Trump’s complaint of a rigged system “borders on the seditious.” According to the Italian press, many of Pope Francis’s aides viewed Trump’s victory as a “bitter defeat.”

A federal appeals court ruled Monday against Michael Flynn and the Justice Department in their request to quickly shut down his criminal case. The 8-2 decision restores power to a judge to question the Justice Department's moves in the politically divisive case, when Attorney General William Barr dropped charges against President Donald Trump's former national security adviser earlier this year despite twice pleading guilty to lying under oath to lying to the FBI. Flynn had fought District Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to ask a third-party lawyer to argue against the Justice Department's dismissal in the case, and his plans to hold a hearing, which has not yet happened.

On Thursday, no social distancing or masks, sending a clear message that the CDC should be ignored.” “His plan is to kill people. Let's just say it,” Murphy continued.   Correction*

On the ninety-third night of violent antifa riots in Portland, a group of protesters occupied the lobby of Mayor Ted Wheeler’s (D-Portland) apartment building as a mob held a block party outside and activists shined strobe lights into Wheeler’s window. The mob demanded the complete abolition of the police by 2022. Meanwhile, a group of rioters set fire to the Portland Police Association building, targeting the police union for what appears to have been the fourth time since the police killing of George Floyd. This unrest came the day after Wheeler sent a letter to President Donald Trump, declining his offer to send federal officers. Protesters entered the lobby
