The gravestone of a dog named the 'N word' based in Warwickshire has been removed amid the Black Lives Matter movement. The dog passed away in July 1902 and his memorial in Coombe Abbey Park, a popular cultural attraction, displayed his controversial name along with the date of his death. Following complaints made last year, Coventry City Council refused to remove the gravestone due to property reasons, but it has finally been taken away following the worldwide protests sparked by George Floyd's death in the United States. A council spokesperson said: 'We can confirm the historical gravestone in memory of a loved pet was removed.

All one must do these days to get their way or get someone fired is claim their "offended." Anyone can make this claim. Anyone. I'm waiting for the day our courts get clogged by people suing because they were "offended."

How about we just obliterate history. Then one day nobody will remember what we're so Pizzed off about and we can get back to tweeting. This statue stuff is too much like physical labor.

Imagine that! Not only is the mermaid statue in Copenhagen racist, but a dog that has been dead for more than a century is too!

I'm offended. /s
My great-grandparents lived and died in England. I've been told that their graves have a marker with a number but not their names. (They were the town drunks.)

A cowardly, classless, putrid act. Destroying all that a poor loved pet had left in the whole world to satisfy some ignorant, hateful pukes.

"What's in a name? " spake Juliet. What ever happened to "sticks and stones..." and "if you don't like it, don't look,...change the channel...." etc. It appears it depends only on who is offended.
When will Nigeria and its river be renamed? How about all of the cities in the world that someone finds offensive? I am offended by Dallas because of their football team's moronic owner!

It's an awful word, entertainers should find another word to use in popular songs. The idea that the black community is using it so frequently to diminish the hate behind it is lame. It is an insult or part of an insult. Maybe viewed as rebellious by some, but really it is low class and shows the limitations of the people who hurl it about with such joy. Aim higher.

How do they find these things? In NYC a plague indicating a tree was gifted by Robert E Lee had to be removed. Small pieces of stain glass have to be removed. Kate Smith sang two obscure songs decades ago and she had to be cancelled. I swear these people spend every waking hour looking under every rock for something that "triggers" the.

The ship’s cat aboard the Terra Nova, R.F. Scott’s ship on his last Antarctic expedition in 1911-1913 was named “N______” by the crew. I guess that’s one more reason history must be revised to cast Scott as a nincompoop.

Strange code the libs have. Check any comments on a lib site (if you dare).
N word: bad (in fact, the Unforgivable Sin)
F word: good
B word: good
S word: good
I could go on.

With apologies to Alexander Pope: Perhaps a more appropriate marker for the N-word dog's grave would have been,"Pray tell me, sir, whose dog are you?" Maybe the do-gooders should try to answer that question.

One look at the property in question answers the question of how many George Floyds might happen to see the grave marker of the long-gone good boy, thus triggering pained howls of anguish about the Terrible James Crowe Dayes in Merrie Olde Englande. (PS, tell them not to watch the old Dambusters movie, which features a good boy of the same name.)
