Earth is getting so hot that temperatures in about a decade will probably blow past a level of warming that world leaders have sought to prevent, according to a report released Monday that the United Nations called a “code red for humanity.” “It’s just guaranteed that it’s going to get worse,” said report co-author Linda Mearns, a senior climate scientist at the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research. “Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.”(Snip)The authoritative Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, which calls climate change clearly human-caused and “unequivocal,” makes more precise and warmer forecasts for the 21st century than it did last time

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in a new clip released Monday that she feared rioters would rape as well as kill her when they stormed the Capitol on January 6th. 'You didn't only think you were going to die, you thought you were going to be raped?' CNN host Dana Bash asked.'Yeah, I thought I was,' Ocasio-Cortez answered nodding. 'White supremacy and patriarchy are very linked in a lot of ways,' the progressive Democrat said when recalling that day. 'There's a lot of sexualizing of that violence and I didn't think that I was just going to be killed, I thought other things were

After denouncing the Trump administration for banning travel from China in 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, on Monday, CNN’s New Day actually promoted the notion of somehow imposing a travel ban on the state of Florida over a recent rise in COVID cases there. Without a sense of irony, the show hyped the notion that travel from the Sunshine State would have already been banned if it were a foreign country.“Now, one out of every five people hospitalized in this country is in Florida right now....One Florida doctor says children’s hospitals in the state are overwhelmed while Republican Governor Ron DeSantis resists calls to require masks

Republican Sen. Tim Scott boarded a plane to Hawaii earlier this year to meet with one of the richest people in the world: Tech titan Larry Ellison.Ellison’s remote Lanai Island home was well out of the South Carolina senator’s way. But for Scott, who like the 76-year-old Ellison is an outspoken advocate for school choice, cultivating the mogul has paid dividends — and could even help propel a 2024 presidential bid. Since last October, Ellison has contributed $10 million to an outside group aligned with the senator — a huge sum even in the super PAC era and the business owner’s biggest known contribution in three decades

“You always know the mark of a coward. A coward hides behind freedom. A brave person stands in front of freedom and defends it for others.” -Henry Rollins
We all know that the Democrats fight dirty; always have, always will. The Republicans on the other hand just sit back and let them lie, cheat and steal as if it would be rude to call them out for their crimes. They seem to delight in being known as the polite party. As a result, the left is plowing them under with glee. They impeached President Trump twice over nothing, less than nothing.

Census Bureau statisticians and outside experts are trying to unravel a mystery: Why were so many questions about households in the 2020 census left unanswered? Residents did not respond to a multitude of questions about sex, race, Hispanic background, family relationships and age, even when providing a count of the number of people living in the home, according to documents released by the agency.

We should be allowed to shoot anyone who makes practical arguments regarding COVID-19, according to one 2022 California congressional candidate.
The candidate is Steve Cox, an independent running to represent California’s 39th Congressional District.
On Monday, Cox responded to conservative commentator Matt Walsh on Twitter, writing, “Whenever anyone says ‘we all die from something’ (or a variation thereof) to justify not taking precautions to help protect others in this pandemic, we should be allowed to shoot them.”
Comments:
Nowhere in the article is the political affiliation of the accused mentioned. So, anyone want to hazard a guess?
