The Fox News Channel has fired one of its leading news anchors, Ed Henry, following an outside investigation of "willful sexual misconduct in the workplace." Details were not available. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace called the situation "a very serious matter" in an internal memo sent to staffers earlier Wednesday and shared with NPR and other news outlets. Henry's co-host on America's Newsroom, Sandra Smith, informed the show's audience earlier Wednesday morning. NPR has learned that Henry was given more prestigious roles by the network despite a colleague's warning to top executives that doing so could damage Fox's efforts at reforming its workplace culture. Gosh golly, geewhiz! You mean '' the boy nextdoor'' is a horndog? Ed Henry had a great story to tell and now he has another story to tell. I guess the main word in this story is the word''willful''.

We live in odd times. I most certainly don't condone infidelity but if everybody who screwed around lost their job there would be far too few people left to sustain the survival of the human species.
When you come forward years after the fact my default is to suspect something that at the time was consentual is now an opportunity. Obviously in the case of traumatic situations I get the time delay.
For every high profile person who has fallen from grace there are dozens who just haven't been caught.

If men who sin are no longer allowed to hold jobs, who's going to pay the taxes that feed the Marxists?

I have to admit I knew about the Vegas hostess and wondered why they were giving him such prominence-----2nd chance is one thing, but..................... In any case, two things are clear: Fox will be smeared, while NBC is virtually free and clear re: Matt Lauer and MiraMax et al. 2nd: there may be a certain amount of competitive sour grapes re: colleagues over something that apparently happened years ago, and we don't know if it was a pattern or a one shot.

As Dirty Harry said "a man's gotta know his limitations"
Right or wrong, true or false - sexual harassment charges have been around for decades and I have no sympathy for any man who doesn't heed its frivolous interpretations and dare the consequences. I managed women in a represented work place for 20 years. I was very careful not to say or do anything (even body language) that could be misinterpreted when around them. I also used the Mike Pence rule of not being alone with any employee if possible - I was actually once charged with harassment for disciplining a woman in private but the other women came to my defense. It became too tedious and the millennials appeared and it was time to retire.

Geese Louise...firstly, the article is from npr...
Secondly, in today's world, what is the difference between flirting and sexual harassment?...if he/she likes you...it's flirting.
Thirdly......welcome to 2020.....good Lord, between blm and this, it is no wonder that women are being "left out"...I will NOT be alone at work in the office with a woman unless the door is WIDE open and/or someone else is observing......yeah, I went through a gavno accusation years ago..... learned my lesson....as a result I don't believe that democrat mantra "all women must be believed" unless the accused is a democrat.
Lastly, my better half, in her much younger years, was sexually assaulted by the son of a prominent attorney here in Pennsylvania....she shared the facts of the experience with some early on, including me, in our early dating time frame....she has kept it quiet....perhaps under this new reality, she should bring it to light.....

I agree with #6. The watchword for men in the workplace when it comes to generating a personal relationship with a female, is forget about it if you want to keep your job, as there is always the possibility of a minor disagreement being elevated to a career ending sexual harassment complaint. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side of the road, and outside the workplace.

An excellent point, #6, and I do quote that 'great American philosopher' fairly often.

There is a little more information about the background of his firing. Yes, it's NPR, but his wife is an editor at NPR. Maybe NPR's sympathies aren't with a Fox pundit.
