A memo sent by University of Colorado-Boulder officials on June 5 to all students and employees states that systemic racism exists, and asserts that applicants to the school must be willing to “combat systemic racism” because that would be a “non-negotiable condition of enrollment and employment.”Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement Bob Boswell, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Akirah Bradley, and Associate Vice Chancellor the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance and Title IX Coordinator Valerie Simons wrote: We strongly support the many messages of solidarity that members of the CU Boulder community have shared in recent days

So the State is now requiring political loyalty for admission and employment. So much for that 1st amendment thingy.

This is plainly presumptuous and grossly insulting. I wouldn't touch this school with a ten foot pole.

If universities are not going to follow the founding principles, shut off ALL Federal funds and let them be 'private' universities.

No Boswell. We need to fight systemic lawlessness and systemic ignorance. Systemic racism is just a label that the liberals concocted.

True story, In the late 60's I was a chemistry major in a well know science college in NYC. I was also in the Young Republican Club on campus. My friend, (also in the YRC) who was working as my partner on our thesis had to take a non chemistry elective. We decided to take economics. Even back then, our economics professor was a Marxist. Needless to say, my friend and I skipped most of the classes and then took the final exam which was to write an essay on economics at home. We did...and both got Cs. We both thought that we deserved and went to see the professor. The professor asked my friend what grade he thought he should get. My friend said a B. Ok, the professor says, I'll change that to a B. Then he turns to me and asks me the same question. I told him that I should get an A.
Long story short, my friend stopped talking to me for awhile.

I suggest you begin with the African-American applicants because that's where I see the systemic racism being fomented.

No doubt this is necessary because Colorado has always been a hotbed of racism. Indeed, the number of slaves in Colorado numbered in the handful. Poor blacks were sooo mistreated in Colorado, and the Jim Crow laws and Segregation were intolerable.
Doesn't matter. UCB officials have expiated their white guilt

Systemic racism, whatever that is, was pretty much extinct until the present effort to revive it. Lets hope the push doesn’t succeed. We have enough problems without this imaginary entity.

Colorado Buffaloes Mascot Ralphie, once a symbol of tough frontier independence, has been neutered. He can no longer roam the plains going where he wants and doing what he wants to do. He must act like he is a sheep!

Systemic Leftism, that's the problem. If I were a Colorado taxpayer I would be outraged and giving my representatives an earful.

Let's level the playing field. Take race and gender off applications and go to the most deserving.

So, they will be getting rid of all Affirmative Action? All college admissions on a totally equal footing, no special adjustments for race?
THAT is 'systemic racism', and the only kind that actually exists.
