Tucker Carlson now has the highest ratings of any program in cable news history, adding extra weight to his historic program last night, in which he laid out the peril ahead if Biden wins, and a clear strategy for the clueless GOP to follow in order to prevent that from happening. (snip) "Republicans at all levels could lose this fall. If they do, there will be profound consequences for you. People who supported Donald Trump will be punished, there's definitely no question about that. There's never been an American political party as radical and as angry as the Democrats are now. Imagine them with unlimited power

Speak the truth, not lies. Whatever it costs. This is what the Lord wants.

A lone voice in the wilderness. Thank God his ratings are a blowout; otherwise, Fox would cancel his show in a minute. Bet all those cowardly advertisers who abandoned him are sorry now.

He'll stay on top as long as he keeps it about the truth and doesn't let it get to his head making it about him.

It is past time for the GOP to stand up for America and push back against the anarchists and anti-America left. Our survival depends on it.

This goes to show that Republicans are hungry for someone who thinks like they do. Millions agree with Tucker. Millions know our Representatives are not working for us. (We need to change that with Term Limits) ! I think the Ratings for Tucker's shows prove Trump has a following that the Pollsters are not reaching. We are in the fight of our life, we need to win or our way of life as we know it will change forever! Hooray for Tucker for pointing that out!

I don't think our "leaders"--not Trump-- have let the people down so much since the Civil War.

Hopefully, the scott loss in the Colorado primary is an indicator that more people are waking up and deciding to deal with the problem locally.

The Democrats are - at present - painfully illogical and frighteningly irrational, belligerent and hatefully aggressive toward 'anyone' who dares disagree with them and their actions, words and intentions. The Democrats' buddies and fellow warriors are roving, threatening, violent gangs who do, scream and plunder whatever fancies them. Where are the traditional Democrat Party elders and/or influencers? Have they 'given up' out of fear (or indifference) and surrendered to the leftist mobs now threatening America - and us? Unbelievable, but true! God help us.

This guy is no longer just a cable news commentator. He is a genuine American hero, like Patrick Henry, Nathan Hale, ...and yes, Donald Trump. Can't be intimidated. And in his case, clear logic, lucid statements, totally fearless. No wonder the leftist traitors and the enemedia are gunning for him, trying to intimidate his sponsors to drop his show.
His 3 principles for the Republicans to get a spine and win in November are absolutely on point:
1) Treat everyone totally equal. No exceptions.
2) Protect freedom of speech.
3) Serve and protect the interests of normal people, the middle class.
Amen.

I just keep wondering if that mental midget Hannity is jealous. He used to be the ratings king.

Tucker gave the 4th of July speech that Trump should deliver from Mount Rushmore. The one thing he could add would be a complete and public debunking of the 1619 Project.

I turn Fox on at 8 o'clock to watch Tucker and turn it off at 9 o'clock when I hear Hannity's voice.

Never miss Tucker, either. In a completely different use of the word, I don't miss Hannity anymore, either-as other posters mentioned.

Paul Ryan and Lochlan Murdoch are even as we read this, plotting how to get rid of Tucker, I have no doubt.
Those two NeverTrumpers are not going to stand by and let him go against the new leftist grain of Fox News.
Fox took down Bill O'Reilly, an immensely popular show. I am convinced it was totally political, even though they used the convenient "no defense possible" excuse of the time "sexual harrassment". I am really surprised that Hannity and Carlson have not been forced out.....yet.

It's not that the GOP is clueless at the national level. It is part of the UNIPARTY. It has no interest in stopping anything so long as the do-re-mi keeps being spread around. The Dems are their partners. All this drang and sturm is window dressing to drive the public into one side or the other to keep the profitable churn going. The social outcome is meaningless.
After decades of squawking about "budget busting" budgets, the GOP passed and a Republican President just signed appropriations spending $6 TRILLION imaginary dollars for all sorts of wonderful and wondrous things. Even the public got a cut of this "free money". No yelping about it. There is another $3 TRILLION teed up for the election season seeding...it's coming, don't kid yourself. And people complained about Billions being spent on this or that, a few Million wasted here and there...laughable anymore.

Its really very simple - really. Whatever reopens the economy and brings back jobs is good, Everything else is an unacceptable distraction distraction (systemic racism, white privilege, George Floyd, climate change, Trump's Tweets etc.) and therefore bad.

This is an absolute must-read that resonates greatly as shown by all the positive responses already posted. Carlson is a beacon of sanity and clarity of message and Lifson does an excellent job of putting Carlson's message in a larger historical context. His remarks about how the present crisis is similar to but much worse than McCarthyism is totally spot-on.

Agree, Tucker is mostly great. Too bad that I have to change to the Weather Channel every fifteen minutes to avoid another “Hi, I’m M.L., the inventor of My Pillow”. etc. A little old after five years or more. Everyone in the world must have several of them by now. I do, and admit to being a n incurable optimist. Thought the first one might have been defective. Must be a big profit is selling a nickel’s worth of shredded foam rubber in a pillowcase, to be able to pay for those continuous ads.
