The publisher of Mary Trump’s potentially explosive tell-all memoir reportedly revealed in a Tuesday night court filing that the company already printed 75,000 copies of the book — after publication was temporarily blocked earlier in the day.
Simon & Schuster also wrote it was only recently made aware of the nondisclosure agreement the author signed as part of a dispute over the 1999 will of President Trump’s father, Fred Trump, the Washington Post reported.
The president had said publication of the book — “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” — would violate the nondisclosure agreement.

John Bolton's publishers don't observe any NDA's. Are NDA's just pieces of paper? I haven't seen them enforced by the courts, except on regular people, who they wallop. Everybody else, not so much.

I sure hope S&S have some good lawyers. Being in the "publishing business," I'm sure they never heard of NDAs.

Well S and S, it sounds like you can make a nice bonfire with the books you've already printed,

It might be interesting to see why she imagines that Donald is exposed as “the world’s most dangerous man”. Many of us see him as one of the few remaining hopes for our country’s future. The present times are certainly perilous.

Since the Bolton book debacle, this is the new go to excuse made by publishers.

They should be forced to recall every single Book they already sent out. It's either that or experience the Wrath of the Trump family when they sue you into oblivion! This disgruntled family member should not be able to go on TV and blab about what is in her Book either! This is what Bolton is doing right now! Shouldn't be allowed!

S&S is a leftist party organ and has no interest whatsoever in conservatives or their values.

I call horse hockey on that. If there are any more diligent legal departments in this nation than a publisher's, please tell the classroom.

When toxic food is discovered to have harmed someone, it is immediately recalled by the manufacturer and removed from supermarkets everywhere. There is no reason books can't be recalled for the same reason.

To me, the purpose of the article is to:
1) Tell everyone what the title of the book is, so that the 'cute' lefties know what to ask for, and
2) Tell everyone that 75,000 hard copies of the book exist, "and have been shipped"... so if you're a lefty 'insider' and you know the 'right' people at your local lefty bookstore, the coolest thing you can have is an 'unofficial' -obtained by hook or by crook- copy of the book to display on your coffee table in your overpriced apartment, so that your lefty friends can all recognize what it is and be jealous that THEY did not have the 'inside connections' to also get a copy of the book.
The article is trying to make this a 'lefty status item'.
Period.
