Report: Trump Regrets Taking
Jared Kushner’s Advice,
Done With His ‘Woke (Expletive)’

Original Article

A new report is out claiming that Donald Trump has recognized his current track isn’t one to victory and that he’s changing course. Specifically, he’s taking aim at son-in-law Jared Kushner for giving him bad advice and pushing policies that haven’t helped the President’s re-election chances. This is coming from Axios, and all caveats when dealing with the anonymous reports apply, but Jonathan Swan has been pretty solid when it comes to sourcing within the White House.

Comments:

I never understood why this guy was given so much authority in the first place. Hopefully he'll be sent to the showers without further delay.

Currently PT has commercials that quote Quid Pro Joe bragging about how many people his crime bills locked up. Heck. That's to only thing he ever did that I approve of. Lock them up and throw the key away.

Not sure this isn't just more Fake News, trying to sow discord in the Trump White House staff. I doubt that Pres. Trump would follow bad advice from anyone. Everyone knows that Kushner is a lefty, easy setup for Fake News.

Trump has been listening to Democrat advice this year, and not those who elected him. The shutdown was a mistake, and so are the masks. Those mistakes have allowed the Democrats to declare their own emergency powers and now we have their boots on our necks, and they will never lift them. Life stinks now, and this is 4 months in. The Democrats know people are getting weary, and intend to double down with more misery through the election.

Those who know him best have told us, over and over and over, that President Trump listens to everyone. All sides. That does not mean that he follows all advice given him nor agrees with all opinions offered. Margaret Thatcher would observe that we are “going all wobbly”… with a lot of help from the leftist media. That didn’t happen at Lucianne in the past… The MSM and the leftist press were viewed with very cynical eyes...

I think or I hope there may be some truth to this. Jared and Ivanka coming on board the first year I understood. Our party hierarchy made those first months rough and he needed them. Now the couple is using Dad’s position to build something for themselves. It is not yet clear what Jared is up to. Ivanka getting that paid family leave for well-compensated federal workers should never have happened. I do not think she had any business lobbying lawmakers for that. Nobody elected her to anything. I also do not see any evidence that she has brought women voters to her Dad. Much prayer is going up for Trump. I hope he is reading social media and how his base is feeling these days. I hope Jared and his wife will be back to their own lives come Dad’s second term.

Good help is hard to find in Washington. Somebody gave Trump bad advice on CV19, and it had to be someone he trusted. Whoever gave Trump advice on CV19 should be fired, but Trump should have known better as well. Trump followed the Democrat direction on CV19, and that was a big mistake. Have to imagine Trump went down this road because nobody gave him any other alternatives. The lockdown wrecked the economy and cost millions of jobs. Social distancing was blatantly unsustainable, but we keep arbitrarily enforcing it. Protesters need not follow social distancing guidelines because they are 'special'.. Masks might provide some help for people who are infected from spreading CV19, but they are mainly a security blanket. The media, the medical profession, and the Democrats created a panic, and nobody countered it. The only 'evidence' offered to condone these actions is a debunked computer model. Models aren't proof! All of this was put forward by Democrats.

Final Truths: Remembering
Bill Buckley Today

February 27, 2008, was, by recollection, a gloomy Wednesday in New York City, except . . . it was actually sunny. The terrible news shades the memory gray — Bill Buckley died that morning at his home in Stamford, Conn. He was 82 and had battled a number of persistent and complicating afflictions. They won out. But he went, as they say, with his boots on — in his study, writing, adding to the millions of words he had already shared with the world on topics from Bach and GPS systems to tax cuts and communism.

Given how flawed human nature is, America has been a remarkable moral achievement. This is the truism that separates the wise man from the fool. This is the truism that separates the left from the anti-left. Those who acknowledge how flawed human nature is compare America to reality. Those who do not, compare America to some utopian image: a country free of inequality, prejudices, intolerance, sexual misbehavior, greed, etc. This divide helps explain why those who hold a biblical worldview -- usually religious Jews and Christians -- are more likely to appreciate America than those who do not.

And … file a countersuit? We gave Dominion their say in my earlier post, so fair is fair. Rudy Giuliani issued a typically combative response to the defamation lawsuit filed in federal court by Dominion, threatening to use the action to “fully and completely” investigate the voting-system company. Consider this a more florid version of the “yay discovery” response that Giuliani’s supporters have expressed, with a side of bravado: Rudy Giuliani slammed Dominion Voting Systems on Monday in response to the company’s announcement that it was suing him for defamation. “Dominion’s defamation lawsuit for $1.3 billion will allow me to investigate their history, finances, and practices fully and completely,”

Now that the Georgia runoffs are over, let’s talk about Donald Trump. When we really needed all hands on deck in Georgia, Trump was a wrecking ball. He went down to Georgia and insulted everyone, refusing to talk about anything but himself. Based on his rally speech this week, Trump apparently thinks he won the November election because there was a red wave for everyone except him. How else could all those Republicans win congressional seats on his “coattails,” while he lost?

Of all the books I have written—and there have been many—Radical Son is the one that has touched the most people, and touched them the most deeply. I think the reason for this is that it describes a personal odyssey through the political labyrinths of our times. Its narrative addresses the psychological and religious dimensions of what it means to be a radical and to harbor utopian dreams of re-creating the world and making it just. Secular radicals have variously called these dreams of a heaven on earth, “socialism,” “communism,” or “social justice.” These fantasies are consolations for the flawed world in which we actually find ourselves, and cannot escape.

The Daily Beast and Business Insider tried to spin the nursing home death of Kristi Noem’s 98-year-old grandmother into a political hitjob, despite the fact that the death was not COVID-related and the nursing home enacted strict protocols for visitors. “Shameful,” was the reaction of Noem’s policy director Maggie Seidel to National Review. Daily Beast special correspondent Michael Daly — who has bashed Noem in five articles since August, but has yet to cover New York’s deadly COVID nursing home policy — tried to juxtapose the death of Aldys Arnold with Noem’s “downplaying of the pandemic and her continued refusal to impose a statewide mask mandate.”

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
