A new flu virus has been discovered in China that can reportedly infect humans and that experts are warning has “pandemic potential” as the world still grapples with the coronavirus pandemic, which also originated in China. Scientists say that the new flu strain was recently discovered in pigs and they are “concerned that it could mutate further so that it can spread easily from person to person, and trigger a global outbreak,” the BBC reported. “They say, it has ‘all the hallmarks’ of being highly adapted to infect humans and needs close monitoring. As it’s new, people could have little or no immunity to the virus.”

Comments:

Related to H1N1 from 2009. I say we just construct a permanent wall around China and completely isolate them until they get their poop in a group RE all of the deadly viruses that keep popping up!!

The Chinese Communists must figure that kinetic warfare will become obsolete as the Chinese COVID-19 virus is showing them that all they have to do is covertly poop out another such virus every six months to destroy the developed world. In the USA the so-called mainstream (liberal) media is showing China that they are all in on such a plan, and that they can cause continuous public panic in the USA through their 24/7 bogus news releases as they did with their first generated but totally unnecessary toilet paper panic.

My kids were the first documented cases of H1N1 back in 2009 in the large city that I live in. They got sick, had fever and got better after a few days. There are much worse things to worry about than the flu. Getting sick is part of life, we get sick and then recover until one day when go on to see our creator.

I had the H1N1 in 2009. It was pretty brutal. I felt a little funny, was sitting in a restaurant at lunch on vacation with my wife, when it hit like a ton of bricks. Immediate fever and chills. Sick for about a week. But it was just a flu. Very, very unpleasant. Big believer in the 4 strain, high dose (for old people) flu shot since then and haven't had the flu since. And we have the infrastructure in place for a vaccine for pretty much most flu viruses (viri?)

Pandemic potential? More like pandemic porn. Our media, the Democrats, and other assorted big government types are still fomenting a panic. Its an election year. They want Trump gone. This wouldn't make the news if a Democrat was President. Don't fall for it. Turn off the news, and go about your life business as usual. Its the only way people can go about their lives. Putting this in perspective. There are likely over a million different viruses out there. There will always be another bug, and it doesn't have to come from China. This is all BS. This reminds me of the original Men in Black movie. An alien battle cruiser is threatening to blow up the Earth. The Will Smith character wants to warn the world. The Tommy Lee Jones character stops him in his tracks, and says absolutely not. Turns out there is always some alien threat to the Earth, and the only way people can go about their lives is if they don't know. Ignorance is bliss people. Take the precautions you are comfortable with, but continue on with your life. We aren't made to cower in our homes.

If all this crap is coming from China, then the logical thing to do is close the door to Chinese goods and services. Anyone from China, or who has visited China in x number of days, must quarantine upon entry to the United States at their own expense for a prescribed number of days or weeks. Persons caught violating these rules should be sentenced to prison and pay a hefty fine. Force the Chinese to get their act together! The actions I am suggesting are quite similar to the actions the governments of New Zealand and Australia have taken against most of the rest of the world, not just China. So why would it be wrong for us to do something similar?

Former Oakland Raiders Super Bowl champion safety Burgess Owens won the Utah Fourth Congressional GOP primary on Tuesday night and will now face off against Rep. Ben McAdams (D-UT). Owens decisively won the Fourth Congressional District’s primary by roughly 20 points. Owens’ victory means he will now face off against freshman swing district Democrat McAdams in the general election. McAdams unseated former Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) during the 2018 midterm elections. The Cook Political Report rates the race as a “lean Democrat,” but Owens’ potential victory over McAdams could help the GOP retake the House majority. Republicans need to gain a net 17 seats during the 2020 elections to regain the House majority.

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s unsteady demeanor at his first press conference in nearly three months on Tuesday reinforced the idea that he is not going to be in charge of his own administration if he is elected president in November. The Biden administration will be run behind the scenes by a mixture of old establishment hands and young radicals. In effect, it will pursue the policies of Bernie Sanders, with the personnel of Barack Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton. It will be a regency, not a presidency — or, perhaps more accurately, a government by a central committee, or a politburo.
