Finally the mayor of Seattle decided to drop the hammer on the Seattle autonomous zone.
Last night the Seattle Department of Transportation began removing some of the barricades.(Tweet/Video) The radicals tried to put substitutes like couches and other things to block off the area again.
But Mayor Jenny Durkan issued an emergency order today, demanding that the radicals leave the Capitol Hill area.(Order) The police issued a dispersal order at 5 a.m., they gave them eight minutes to get out, then they moved in.(Tweets (Snip))Here’s the very satisfying video of the police finally clearing them out.

Time to run the metrics on the Chopchazistan experiment. What was their GDP? How much did they rely on foreign aid for sustenance? What was the murder rate per capita, rape per capita?
Lets get a real clear picture of the destination that the democrats have in mind.

Well, once an IMPORTANT person (aka Mayor) felt threatened by these hoodlums, then it was time to act.

Sad to see this happen. If only the utopia could have been allowed to exist until the Nov elections. Which is the real reason coward Durkan took action. My guess is the reelection of most city officals was in jeopardy and quick actions was needed so there would be enough tme for the Woke but still asleep citizens of Seattle to forget all this ever happend.

If I was the police I would tell her to pound sand. Why does she want protection when she want none for us?

If they had really wanted to be autonomous, I'd have shut off the water, electricity, sewer, gas, transit routes, etc. out of this new country. Built border checkpoints and said until you got your passport system up to international standards, everyone in your new country stays put. It would have been over by noon the first day.

NIMBY is good enough for the mayor but not good enough for the residents/businesses in that area of Seattle.

There's a lesson to be learned from this. If it happens again but this time in YOUR city, what are you going to do?

I'm surprised that the police cooperated with the mayor.
I wonder where the people went?
Still lots of questions and lots of work to do.

I would have gone in with a Drum & Piper band like the Scots do when they go into battle.

OH I see. Once Miss" Don't you know who I am?" had her safe space invaded and her safety threatened, it's stopped being the "Summer of Love" and girlfriend got serious!! Hypocrisy as usual.
It is nice however when the weight of the violent, hate filled Democrat nurtured mob finally crashes down on the elite Democrats who never thought they would feel the burden of the regressive, criminal policies they vote for day in and out. Karma baby!!

If i were the chief of police, I would have sent a social worker to the mayor's house to try to talk her out of her "irrational fear" of the protestors.
P.S. And THAT'S how you make these loony-tunes stop: You show up at their house and reek havoc on them!

All that it takes is for the lucky citizens of Seattle who live well outside of CHPCHAZ to realize that this could be their neighborhood and then vote to defund the police. VOTE

I went to Drudge to see what they had. NOT ONE word on Seattle at all on his home page. Kinda makes me wonder who is calling the shots over there.

If anyone ever doubted that this was mayor Jenny's pet project and that she was the sponsor, and the one person making sure it was there.....note that the instant she decided that it was gone....it was coming down....
Mayor Jenny owns this mess and those dead people and raped women, totally. ALL on her account.

Anarchists tried to use tipped over portapotties (that had been supplied by the City) as replacement barricades, but were stopped. The feckless mayor could have prevented shootings and deaths by doing this before they went to her house.
