Plenty has been written about the rock solid political love fest between President Trump and white evangelical Protestants. It’s been a unique match made in heaven that propelled Trump to the presidency. (Snip) Officials with Joe Biden’s campaign tell Just The News they believe they’ll be able to pull off a surprise this fall and bring in some voters from the evangelical movement. “The battle for the soul of our nation deeply resonates with evangelicals,” says John McCarthy, deputy national political director for the Biden Campaign. “They would be open to Joe Biden’s message as well.”

The Biden campaign is not only holding virtual house parties “after church services” with Catholic leaders about policy discussions regarding the marginalized and vulnerable in society, but they have “cut a myriad of faith-based YouTube videos highlighting Biden’s principles of faith and has weekly ‘Believers for Biden’ calls among faith leaders who get an update on campaign activity.”
They have developed a plan “to safeguard America’s faith-based communities” that would direct federal money for “security at houses of worship to protect against religious hate crimes and deadly attacks” and a proposal for “a new law enforcement program at the Department of Justice that would be tasked with preventing attacks against faith-based organizations.” Typical enticements from the Democrat playbook—play on emotions and dangle money. They are going beyond white evangelicals with a “robust outreach program to Latino evangelicals and Catholics.” Joe Biden grew up in a Catholic family and wants to win back Catholic voters who voted for President Trump in 2016.
Regarding Joe Biden’s record on pro-abortion that includes wanting to codify Roe v. Wade into law and get rid of the Hyde Amendment, the campaign states that Catholics are not single-issue voters, that their “overarching theme as to where are the lessons of Christ found.” They want Christian voters to know they can vote for Joe Biden and they’ll have a partner.

Murder 50 to 60 million babies and expect evangelicals to forget it?

Delusional.

I'm sorry, this doesn't pass the smell test. It's not even a matter of Pro Trump, but Anti Abortion is the lead play.
Forgive the interjection, but I wish there was a way to speak with DVC directly, I swear he is my long lost figurative brother. :)

The democrats are active supporters of every known perversion. Do they really think they can claim any sort of moral position on anything?

Biden: "My idea of self, of family, of community, of the wider world comes straight from my religion. It's not so much the Bible, the beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, the sacraments, or the prayers I learned. It's the culture." This quote is from a self-proclaimed Catholic who was denied Communion because as the priest stated, "any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching."
Those statements won't win any evangelicals.

A Christian voting for the Democrats would be like a Jew voting for the Nazis.

Because Evangelical Christians just love abortion and think it is the greatest thing ever.
Oh wait, no they don't. They see it as murder, and anyone who supports it as a murderer.
So I'm pretty sure that leaves you out you creepy senile old idiot!!!

A true Christian should not vote for any Democrat who supports the Democrat platform.

Evangelicals might be open to Joe Biden's message?
I wasn't aware Joe had a message. Has anyone heard Joe's message? Is it spray painted on a police precinct in Seattle?

As a white, evangelical Christian, you can count me OUT of these discussions: ...” building a more fair and just society, climate change, racial injustice, and immigration reform. ”
Now, if you want to discuss personal liberty and freedom, including the right to liberty and freedom of unborn babies, well, I’m all in.
PS -confidential to the Biden campaign. Platitudes and “listening” topics are so yesterday and are a turnoff for informed and thinking voters. You need to up your game.
Oh, that’s right. Deplorable are not that bright and respond to anything you say that you THINK they want to hear. Never mind.

Well, Biden does have proclivities very much like certain high level clergy that have been spotlighted in the media over the past decade and who have cost the organizations they belong to much treasure.

We on this board and millions of other believers are wise to this kind of sophistry and deceit. But remember that the Dems' strategy here is not to convert us wholesale to their hellish cause, but to peel off just enough earnest but gullible voters to make an electoral difference. It's been done before: As a Roman Catholic I well remember that in '08 Obama hoodwinked many clergymen with his smoothly delivered jive about "universal" healthcare. There is a market for Biden's brand of bunk among confused people who don't pay much attention to politics or mistake naivete with virtue.

We look to the Bible as the basis for our opinions. We do not vote based on a pleasant personality, or smooth speeches. We choose our candidates based on issues and actions.
We are into right and wrong. We don't like killing, especially killing babies who can't defend themselves. We believe there is one race - the human race. We understand the true nature of man and the evil that has infiltrated this world. We think God is all powerful, and this world will burn up one day when He speaks that command, but until then global warming is not a threat. We hate the things God hates: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness, a person who sows discord among the brethren.

Yeah, and Hillary thought she'd flip Arizona and Texas. Any evangelical who buys Biden's "outreach" is too stupid for words. Could they possibly believe a Biden SCOTUS would protect their churches, their right to bear arms to defend themselves, their freedom of speech?

The audacity of Democrats never ceases to amaze. They are focusing on President Trump’s personal conduct and stating that Joe Biden uses empathy and a common sense of morality to connect with voters. Morality? Where is the civility, decency, morality in the effort to overturn the 2016 presidential election—to destroy and remove President Trump from office? The Biden campaign implies JoeBiden is talking about dignity, themes straight from the catechism; for starters, The Ten Commandments: please explain supporting abortion (murder), voter fraud (do not steal), distortions/lies about President Trump (false witness), wanting to overturn the 2016 presidential election (covet).
