Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) warned Wednesday that some out-of-state travelers to New York might be pulled over by police if they have license plates from states with high levels of the coronavirus. Cuomo said that in addition to law enforcement, he would expect individuals such as hotel clerks and businesses in New York to question travelers from select states.“You’re stopped by a police officer who says, ‘You’re driving a car from Florida. Weren’t you supposed to be on quarantine for 14 days?’” he said, citing an example.Travelers from Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Utah, and Texas would be ordered to put themselves

Just tell them you are in town to riot, loot, and burn down some buildings. Quomo will welcome them with open arms.

I’m from Texas and now I can’t go to New York. Bummer! I was last there in 1972 and have not wanted to go there in all the intervening years. Up yours, Cuomo!

But don’t worry, the police are not permitted to stop looting, arson, destruction of monuments, etc. That’s all off limits to the cops and very much encouraged. Those “protesters” are patriotic dimocrats doing what dimocrats do.

While I wouldn't get caught dead in one of these lie-beral hell-holes, if I did go there I would immediately declare that I was a "person of color" and was there to "protest" -- and if they wanted to stop me they were racist.
Calling a lie-beral racist immediately makes him melt!!!

So, if an out of state car shows up at the border, is Cuomo sending it straight to the nearest nursing home for quarantine...?

Have you ever been on I-95 crossing over into New York during busy rush hours, it would be impossible for the police to stop and question people as Cuomo said without shutting down the major interstate highways. Anyway that will never be done as the police there are to be abolished.

It's been over 60 years since I was in NY and almost 50 since I considered going. A girl I was dating at the time offered to take me at her expense. The only time I would ever go back would be if I had to change planes at the airport. It will be interesting to see what the butchers' bill will be for all the ruined businesses that will never be back. Insurance will become either unavailable or priced out of reach. I wonder if Fredo's brother has any idea of what he has done to a once-great city? He and Comrade de Blahsio. No sane businessperson will consider investing in a city without the rule of law. The Democrat-run big cities are in a financial graveyard spiral.

See my website stateplates.com for very reasonably priced New York plates. or get some blue and yellow paint and make your own. If you're from CT and commute you got a problem. Otherwise just ignore Hew York.

NY cars are all over Florida and I guess when they go home they aren't a problem. Much of the infected in Florida came from NY, now the payback for Florida issuing them notice when they came in.

Okay Granny Killer, let me get this straight.
You don't have enough police to keep the looters, rioters, and murderers under control in the cesspool NYC but you have enough to harass every car with an out of state tag that enters NY.
Will you be asking the out of state rioters on NYC streets to self quarantine before they start tearing down statues and setting homeless people on fire?

How many vehicles come into NY from NJ every day? Do they plan on quarantining every worker crossing the bridge from Jersey. The founders must be spinning like tops seeing the clowns that we as a nation elect to lead us.

Following the Marxist ideas of the governor of Delaware. Delaware state police have been pulling people over from out of state for months, and telling them to leave. Your were ok if you were traveling say on I-95, but venture off the main interstates, and your odds of getting pulled over increases. I know someone from Pa. who had a job to do in Delaware, and decided to stop to get a sandwich in Delaware. Two state troopers pulled him over, questioned him about why he was in Delaware. When he told them he had just finished a job and decided to stop to get something to eat, the troopers said, "No your not, keep driving".

What a stupid incompetent dishonest corrupt tyrant New York has for a Governor. The guy is clueless. The guy makes up for that by being a partisan hack. One thing CV19 has done is show the population how screwed up our leaders are. So many of them shouldn't be there. When a real crisis hit, they don't know what to do.

Gov. Cuomo is a noose on the liberty of his subjects. New Yorkers are ruled. I, for one, will not submit to his declaration. My money will not darken the State of New York. I feel sorry for all those upstaters who live under the tyranny of NYC and Albany.

Dear Governor Cuomo: I often visit your state. In general, my goal is to get from Greenwich, CT to Ft. Lee, NJ ( or vice versa) as fast as possible. I also keep the windows up, not for health, but for the smell. In fact, I keep them up until I’m clear of the refineries in northern New Jersey, too, so don’t worry about my germs. I won’t be there long. Now that you have video tolls for cash customers at the GW bridge, I don’t even have to roll down the window there. It’s a great improvement, thanks!
