House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced his committee will be launching an investigation into US Attorney General Bill Barr’s firing of SDNY US Attorney Geoffrey Berman.
Barr on Friday fired Mueller hack and US Attorney Geoffrey Berman and nominated Jay Clayton to replace him.
The crooked attorney refused to step down and released a statement of his own, which Barr referred to as a ‘public spectacle.’
Berman’s office was the lead in several high profile cases assembled by Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann. [Video]
Nadler accused Barr of ‘caring little about the law’ in a statement on Saturday and asserted that Berman’s firing “smacks of corruption and incompetence”

Send Nadler and his buddy schifty-googly-eyes to GITMO. Nadler would tell all before they ever started waterboarding.

Someone should remind Nadler that Bill Clinton fired every Attorney General throughout the U.S. when he came into office.

The House has never successfully subpoenaed a president to testify. When Harry Truman was subpoenaed, he told the committee to pound sand and refused under the Separation of Powers Doctrine. Further, the House would have no way to enforce the order other than to impeach. Things have gotten so crazy, it is not impossible to imagine Nadler attempting to order one or more Supreme Court justices to testify about an opinion. The Court would quash the subpoena on its own motion and tell him to pound sand. Nadler is a punk.

Nadler is beating another dead horse, as the President has the constitutional authority to remove and replace all US Attorneys for any reason or no stated reason.
US Attorney’s Offices are always involved in criminal investigations, and if the President could not remove a US Attorney because his or her office was involved with criminal investigations, the President would never be able to remove a US Attorney. Usually when a US Attorney is removed the First Assistant US Attorney takes over until a new US Attorney is nominated and confirmed, with all ongoing investigations continuing. It appears that’s what happened in this matter.

Nadler needs to worry more about his own corrupt son getting caught out than he does about somebody who had the LEGAL right to fire a US attorney. Now that at least 4 more roadblocks have been removed, maybe Barr can start doing his job of indicting the guilty?

Nadler should retire and become an actor. He could play one of the diseases in a prescription medicine commercial.
He wouldn't even need any makeup!

Sheldon Silver controlled NY state for decades. Didn't matter who was Governor, Silver made the important calls about legislation and where the money went. Then FINALLY someone paid attention to the graft/corruption and he will be sentenced to 7 to 20 years in prison this month for taking 4 million in bribes. Does anyone believe Nadler has not taken more than 4 million in bribes during his lifelong 'public servant' career? Comb thru his financial records and his family and friends, like he wants to do with Trump. They think they are some kind of Kings over us. They need to be stopped and exposed ASAP.

This is political posturing and a stunt. It allows the media and democrats, but I repeat myself, opportunities to ask "what is he hiding?",if he didn't have anything to hide, he would appear, and "Trump is obstructing justice".
Wouldn't it be a hoot if he showed up and reamed them for an hour.
