President Trump, in the wake of Thursday's defeat at the Supreme Court in his efforts to repeal the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, called for new justices as conservatives took aim at Chief Justice Roberts for what they called a “pattern” of siding with the liberal wing in key decisions. (Snip) If the Radical Left Democrats assume power, your Second Amendment, Right to Life, Secure Borders, and ... Religious Liberty, among many other things, are OVER and GONE!” he tweeted.

John Roberts is a stink bomb that George W. Bush left in Washington, DC. Time will not be kind to the "conservative" reputation of GWB. Liberals go to the wall for their SC nominees, and against Trump nominees. GWB just didn't have it in him to fight with the liberals, so he nominated Roberts. I hope President Trump gets to appoint a few more SC justices before 2024. Roberts is a certified swamp critter.

If we can re-elect Trump, and I think we can, I doubt that RBG can make it another 4+ years.

No. We do not need new Justices. We need actual Justices, who will stick to the job of judging. We do not need any more legislators. We do not need any more penumbras of emendations. We do not need any more closeted liberals. We need complete information on how Gorsuch and Roberts are being blackmailed. What are their secrets?
The job of a judiciary is to judge, not make law. Defining a premium as a tax is making law. Defining sex as sexual preference is making law. Defining private property as public is making law.
We need courts which will read laws as written, and ensure that those laws are faithfully followed.
Impeach them all and start over.
Enough already.

As far as I am concerned, Justice Roberts' legal opinions are worth a pitcher of warm spit. We will probably never know what Alibama had on him to get him to pass the ACA. Or maybe it was the promise of luscious ice cream from the Speaker-for-Life Pelosi. But from Day One of Obamacare, I recognized John Roberts as our sworn enemy.

I remember Hugh Hewitt cheer leading a Roberts nomination. I believe Ann Coulter did too, although I could be mistaken.
I won't forget this next time they rail against Trump.

Face it. Neither Bush president was truly a Republican. The were Democrat lite. Roberts is a reflection of that. He's the relief valve for the left on the Supreme Court so it does not swing to the right.

Are there NO conservative investigative reporters? Anyone willing to find out what’s in Roberts’s closet?
Anyone with a little tiny bit of curiosity?

Yes #6, but I hear too many Repubs in my state pulling for George P. when he runs when Trump is done. They just can’t face the truth about the Bushes. Sometimes you just can’t fix stupid.

#7, his two adopted Irish children were adopted by some sketchy agencies or something. That and his health records. Or just plain old greed and cowardliness.

Well instead of wasting time the Supreme Court should have ruled on the merits of DACA that was an unconstitutional Obama Administration amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens that has absolutely been encouraging the populations of Central America and Mexico since to send huge numbers of young children on long trips to unlawfully enter the USA, many of them unaccompanied by adult relatives, to await the next and much bigger future DACA style amnesty that also would give a crutch to those populations to bring their entire families into the USA. President Trump has said a number of times that he hoped the Supreme Court, instead of dodging the issue as Congress has been doing for years, would rule to shut down the unconstitutional DACA Program, so that he could gain the leverage to negotiate with Congress to come up with a permanent legislative solution that would give the DACA recipients a permanent immigration status in the USA, but with their ill considered and clearly anti-Trump decision, the Supreme Court appears to have taken that possibility off the table.

I'm kinda liking the dumbocrat idea of adding two more justices. Next year of course, so that continuing president Trump can make the appointments.

The judges have to have clear skin in the game if they step over the bright clear lines of judging into the making laws arena. In the past it was assumed grown men and women knew what it meant to not make law. With the advent of situational ethics and relativism, that inner knowledge wound up in the ditch. So it needs to be spelled out and carried out every time they step over the line.

Whatever Roberts is, an executive order by a previous President can be REVERSED. It should not end up in court, as it is not a law that depends on the U.S. Constitution.
Trump should do so ASAP.

While Bush 43 was a disappointment, I don't understand the rancor associated with Bush 41. Despite his family connections, he volunteered for wartime service as a Naval Aviator as a teenager and served in the Pacific Theater of WWII with distinction. As president, he did what he said he'd do in the first Gulf War. His "no new taxes" pledge was foisted on him by the majority democrat Congress, elected by the American people. The democrats raised existing taxes, which made 41 look like a chump. He was no blustering democrat lite when he sent Marines into LA. His mannerisms in dealing with democrats during office and especially afterwards, only showed that he was from a different era, when democrats didn't overtly hate their country. No one can say that GHW Bush betrayed his country or his core principals, which I contend were conservative. By the time dems were in full commie mode, he was a declining old man with medical issues. I'm glad he didn't go to his grave full of hate.

If I recall correctly, Bush nominated Roberts to be a justice and then the Chief Justice position opened up, so he switched his Roberts nomination to be for that seat.
Maybe Mark Levin is correct in advocating for term limits for the Supreme Court, but I think that might make it even more political.

By SC thinking, Executive Orders are binding laws made without the legislature. If that's the case, get busy President Trump and start issuing them right and left.
