A member of a violent New Mexico rage mob brought a skateboard to a gun fight, with the expected outcome occurring.
As seen in a viral video, a man is beating a hasty retreat from a left-wing protest at a monument of conquistador Juan de Oñate — the mob was calling for the statue to be removed, and began to take matters into their own hands with a pickax, according to the Albuquerque Journal.
This being a fair representation of the left-wing chaos in American streets today.
Members of the armed New Mexico Civil Guard, a civilian group, tried to protect the monument, intervening when the pickax was deployed, the newspaper reported —

This is chilling. Our government is willing to eschew their duty and let our businesses get ransacked and burned to provide "space" for lawless thugs. They are willing to appease the mob by defunding the police. They want to take our guns away while we are being attacked and now they want to arrest us for defending ourselves.
When the police in the Rayshard Brooks case were not given due process that was a signal that none of us will be afforded our rights either.

Why are they allowed to decide which statues stay or are destroyed? Why destroy them at all. They do not OWN them. If you want to deface and destroy do it to your own stuff NOT mine. Maybe all the pro-lifers should go out roit and burn PP offices. Let's create a CHAZ around those offices so no more babies die.

I mean, if these goons were really serious about tearing down statues of evil people, why is the statue of Lenin in Seattle still standing?

Attack an armed man, and you are likely to get shot. And I doubt that there will be charges filed, since I'm sure that the prosecutor will be very aware that there is nearly zero chance of a conviction.
I predict that charges will be dropped. If not, they will be doing it just to 'punish by lawyer's fees'.

It is clear that the leftist and liberal Democrats around the country have aligned themselves with the so-called “peaceful protestors” who have a history of in a second and without notice turning into criminal rioters, assaulting people and destroying public and private property through arson, looting, and stealing. By fraudulently conflating those two factual groups into one said to be “peaceful” group, the Democrats may well be fooling themselves, because the Silent Majority is watching, and waiting, to express their opinion addressing all the Democrat supported civil unrest (rioting) by voting in the November general election

I guess the police have chosen their side in this civil war that is starting. Too bad. I'd hoped to be able to count on them. Oh well. Not much they can do from their knees anyway.

A video of a man trying to get away, pursued by a mob. the mob catches him, beats him to the ground while screaming "we'll kill you".......is there any case which is more clearly self defense? He waited until he was down and they were on him, howling that they would kill him. Remarkable restraint, actually.
The prosecutor is insane if he tries to bring this to a grand jury. And even if he manages to fool the grand jury, since there is only one side presented there, no jury will convict this guy.

OK folks. You've missed something somehow. You're burning down Wendy's franchises but so far have skipped Kentucky Fried Chicken. Colonel Sanders is VERY obviously a Confederate officer and probably a slave owner.
sarcasm OFF.

And PS the Colonel's latest Suthin accent is nowhere near Kentucky. I'd guess a California actor trying to pull off Mississippi.

I would bet if this guy is charged, he won't have to pay for his defense. Donations will come in from all over the country. The Go Fund Me money will take care of the Attorney fees and then some!

Poster 12, the Go Fund Me site will refuse to collect money for him in woke alliance with BLM. They've done it before. You want to donate to him, you may have to hand him the money in person.

Why is he the one arrested?
Because he has been a long time critic of the people who run Albuquerque, and had the temerity to run for City Council last time, bashing their leadership as his platform..
Ironically he has been a vocal supporter of the Police, and a "Law and Order guy".
I bet the former part of that previous sentence is no more.
And the article says of Governorlissima Lujan; "Stunningly, she sided with the mob."
She IS the mob. She wants to destroy the state just as much as the mob does.... and is likely going to be much more successful at it than if Antifa brings in thousands more rioters.

The official alphabet channels say all of you are wrong, that, in fact, a militia nut opened fire on a group of peaceful human rights activists. Who are you going to believe - the "real" story from the highly respected, saturated with integrity "mainstream" news media who tell us they are the sole purveyors of the objective truth or your lying eyes?

I just saw on the Albuquerque "news" that the man had been charged with the "unlawful possession of a handgun," which is just about impossible in New Mexico unless he is a felon. Open carry is perfectly lawful in New Mexico, and concealed carry with a license. Of course, Open Carry freaks out the liberals, who always believe normal people are dangerous when they exercise their Constitutional rights.

#17, unless the guy is actually some sort of a prohibited person, which could possibly be true, that sounds like a persecutor (no typo) who knows that he has no chance in hell of getting even a grand jury to indict on anything much, and who is and/or desperate to charge something for PR reasons, and/or maybe to try to scare the guy into pleading guilty after verbal threats - "How'd you like to be indicted for attempted murder------ or plead guilty to a more minor charge?"
the guy has an excellent case for self-defense, and all on video, pursued by a mob, with the cries of "kill him", beaten on the ground.....the prosecutor should give up and turn him loose, and probably will as soon as "a decent interval" to support his leftist, anti-gun, anti-self-defense bona fides has passed.
And the persecutor may well have gotten a screaming phone call from the mayor saying something like "you damned well better find SOMETHING to charge him with if you want to keep your job!".

Remarkable restraint indeed. I don’t think I could have held off killing several of them if my life was in danger. In fact, I know I couldn’t.

Where the hell were the police? And they arrest the man who was attacked by a violent mob and threatened with death?
