CHAZ devolves into a Fyre festival, a

The Capital Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), is now being rebranded as the Capital Hill Organized Protest (CHOP), and still disgusting as ever. That's a sign of a public relations problem and the pictures are clear enough from journalist Andy Ngo: Besides unsightliness, this "block party" and "summer of love" as it was rapturously called just a few days ago, is also a haven for thugs. But most contemptible of all, it's crying for momma. It's got a 'beg' culture

Toddlers. Say bad words, run around without their diapers and put anything they want in their mouths, to paraphrase PJ O'Rourke.

Trump "Rally" needs to become "Trump Protest". This brings the added bonus of Covid immunity. ......and co-opting their theme is as good as crashing their 'Party'. 'Livin' on Tulsa Time'.

President Trump is doing the exact right thing with these ''protesters.'' Threatening to have the Feds end it, he was able to get the democrat pols to openly come out in defense, or at least tolerance, of those thugs. The thugs, looking for a fight, while they destroy the property of innocent people, some who even supported them (initially), are now demoralized to the point that they are starting to sneak away, and not going back. The democrat pols can 'splain that, next election cycle!

I still love their "Supplies Needed" list of about 12 items. The first three were Clothing, Ice, and Cigarettes. The remainder were illegible. Hopefully these little weasels will just get bored and wander off before somebody gets badly hurt. If they tried it in my Texas neighborhood they would be hog tied and on the curb waiting for trash day.

Feral children, playing dangerous games. Crybaby outlook on the world, "everybody owes me" attitude. And lazy, ignorant and pretty stupid, too. But still occasionally vicious, still a bit dangerous, or trying to be dangerous....too much whining to be taken very seriously. And going nowhere, convincing no one, gaining nothing, just breaking things, getting dirtier by the day, circling the drain. Probably hoping to get their "Junior Revolutionary" merit badges one day.

I was reading something in DSM-5 today and it struck me that these people who IMO are criminals appear to meet most of the criteria for antisocial personality disorder (APD): APD is associated with a wide range of disturbance including persistent rule-breaking, criminality, substance use, unemployment, homelessness and relationship difficulties. Antisocial personality disorder is identified by traits that include irresponsible and exploitive behavior, recklessness, impulsivity, high negative emotionality, and deceitfulness. The ICD-10 criteria for APD: The general criteria for personality disorder (F60) must be met In addition to meeting the criteria for personality disorder, at least three of the following must be met: callous unconcern for the feelings of others; gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules and obligations; incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though with no difficulty in establishing them; very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence; incapacity to experience guilt, or to profit from adverse experience, particularly punishment; marked proneness to blame others, or to offer plausible rationalizations for the behavior that has brought the individual into conflict with society.

People who don't get it were calling in to Hannity and asking why President Trump doesn't do something about CHAZ. Every day that he lets it go on he earns hundreds more votes so why should he lift a finger? Any solution now is going to involve bloodshed there and the Left is salivating while waiting for him to have "murderer" added to his job description. As usual, he is playing it exactly right.

Bad medicine: Fauci's HCQ Waterloo 9 replies

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been hailed in the press as the nation's top infectious disease expert. He's been feted with presidential honors, and high praise for his medical acumen. His policy disagreements with President Trump, supposedly as the voice of 'science,' have made him a hero on the left. Such laurels and the implied power conveyed have led to some weird side effects - such as his image featured on ladies' underwear and declarations that he's the sexiest man alive. He's still being posterized on the left with calls to "Thank Dr. Fauci." Here's one: But it's about time this idol topples, based on this summary about Fauci's startlingly bad medicine

Logic escapes them. Or rather, for New York's teachers unions, protesting school openings isn't really about the dangers of COVID. In the tweedledum-tweedledee politics of New York's Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York's Gov. Andrew Cuomo, de Blasio is playing the one with a brain this time, creating a plan for opening New York City's schools, which has the opposition of Cuomo and the teachers unions themselves, carrying guillotines and coffins around to persuade us that school openings are death sentences. Never mind that New Yorkers have been so exposed to this virus through the subway that they've

We’re getting an awful lot of very bad advice from public officials about how to handle the resurgent coronavirus pandemic. All of a sudden, we’re told, we must lock down the economy again, for our own good. Common sense and experience, it seems, have flown the coop. Just look at Sweden, which avoided a lockdown and slashed its daily COVID-19 death rate. Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Neel Kashkari is the latest to create a stir by saying he favored a “really hard” four-to-six week lockdown of the economy to get the virus under control and help the economy rebound

While Americans across the country continue to work despite the many hardships of COVID-19, teachers’ unions want none of it. They want to keep schools closed, which will benefit their own members greatly but seriously harm school-age kids. The Twitter hashtag “edupocalypse” has seen some use in recent weeks and months as our nation’s schools closed down and all but stopped teaching. It’s leading to what we think can be called, without exaggeration, an educational crisis. Public schools may never be the same. You can blame it on the shameful display of self interest by a powerful, politically-connected lobby that

Joe Biden’s “No Malarkey” bus may need a tune up. While the former vice president’s family has almost made a sport of racking up arrests and skirting jail time, Biden himself suffers from the opposite problem — bragging about arrests which seemingly never happened. During his long career, Biden has boasted or spoken of being collared at least three times in his life, but later confessed they were not in fact arrests, a Post review shows. Unlike his colorful family — who have a collective rap sheet that includes drunk driving, grand larceny, and assault charges spanning decades — Biden employs the cop tales as cute anecdotes in stump speeches and elsewhere.
