Burien, Wash.—Almost all of the city of Burien's Pride flags were stolen from downtown this week and the police are now investigating the incident.
Burien city leaders discovered that 38 of the 40 Pride flags installed downtown had been removed and stolen, according to a city press release. The flags were put up by Discover Burien in support of Pride Month, which is recognized in June as a way to celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ community and commemorate the Stonewall riots that occurred on June 28, 1969.

Raleigh, N.C.—Crews in North Carolina removed the largest remnants of a 75-foot-tall (23-meter-tall) Confederate monument that sat near the grounds of the state Capitol for 125 years. The granite pillar that had supported a statue of a Confederate soldier was pulled from its base in Raleigh to cheers from a crowd of onlookers late Tuesday night, news outlets reported.(Snip) On Friday, protesters pulled down the statues of two Confederate soldiers that were secured on a lower part of the obelisk, before dragging the figures down the street and stringing one up by its neck from a light post.

Madison, Wis.—Gov. Tony Evers said Wednesday he was prepared to activate the National Guard to protect state properties after protesters outside the Wisconsin Capitol tore down statues commemorating an abolitionist and women's rights and threw a Molotov cocktail into a government building during a night of violence that also included an attack on a state senator.
The violence broke out Tuesday night as a group of 200 to 300 people protested the arrest of a Black man who shouted at restaurant customers through a megaphone while carrying a baseball bat. Officers inside the Capitol used pepper spray to repel protesters who were trying

A Seattle woman has been filmed screaming on the ground and claiming she has a black husband after a black man accused her of using the n-word and flipping him off during a road rage incident. The woman, who only identified herself as Leah, ended up in hysterics on the floor in front of her garage in Seattle after being confronted by Karlos Dillard on Monday. Dillard claimed in the now viral video posted on his Instagram that she had cut him off, brake-checked him and called him the n-word. His footage shows the moment he confronts the woman, who he brands 'Karen',

Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to install a massive Black Lives Matter mural right outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, The Post has learned. Plans for the mural—which will be painted in yellow block letters along Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets—come as the city grapples with troubling surges in gun violence and illegal firework activity. “Obviously he is doing it to antagonize the president,” a source said. “This is what he is concerned about while the city burns. What an amateur politician.”(Snip) The installation is one of seven that will pop up across all five boroughs.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called the attacks on monuments “healthy expression” and “good statements.” In an appearance Tuesday on NBC, he denied President Trump’s admonition that, in the words of interviewer Savannah Guthrie, “cities should do more to protect monuments.” Instead, Mr. Cuomo characterized the attacks—which have targeted monuments to Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt and World War II veterans among others—as anti-racist statements. “People are making a statement about equality, about community, to be against racism, against slavery, I think those are good statements,” the Democratic governor said. While he acknowledged that “of course you can” overdo such statements,

Angry Brits want a royal order founded in 1818 under King George III redesigned because the image of St. Michael crushing the head of Satan reminds them of a Minneapolis police officer kneeling on George Floyd.
A Change.org petition has garnered over 4,000 signatures demanding an alteration to The Order of St. Michael and St. George awarded to diplomats and senior Foreign Office officials serving abroad.(Snip) “This is a highly offensive image, it is also reminiscent of the recent murder of George Floyd by the white policeman in the same manner presented here in this medal,” added Tracy Reeve,

Seattle police are investigating a third shooting in the Capitol Hill neighborhood near the city's 'autonomous zone,' a day after the mayor vowed to dismantle the encampment set up by anti-racism protesters. Police tweeted the shooting took place on the edge of the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP), or Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, where demonstrators set up a police-free zone in the wake of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis police custody. A man was taken to Harborview Medical Center at 5am on Tuesday after being shot near Cal Anderson Park and was in satisfactory condition, hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg said.

All three men who were stabbed to death in a park near London last week were members of the LGBTQ community, The Guardian reported. On Saturday afternoon, friends David Wails, James Furlong and Joe Ritchie-Bennett, a Philadelphia native, were relaxing at a park in the south England town of Reading after attending a Black Lives Matter protest nearby. China is conducting clandestine biological weapons-related research and has failed to disclose past offensive germ weapons work, according to a State Department report made public Tuesday. Beijing also is hiding nuclear-related test data by blocking sensors from an international monitoring system used to detect underground nuclear blasts, the annual arms control compliance report contended. The unclassified report provides new details regarding U.S. concerns “for many years” related to Beijing’s biological weapons research that is not permitted under the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention signed by 183 nations, including China and the United States. NASCAR said Tuesday the “noose” found in the Talladega Superspeedway garage stall of Bubba Wallace, was a garage door pull rope and had been there since the fall, according to an FBI report. Wallace was not the target of a hate crime, an FBI report indicated. The rope fashioned like a noose was there before the team’s arrival, the FBI report said. The investigation included photographic evidence from last fall. “We appreciate the FBI’s quick and thorough investigation and are thankful to learn that this was not an intentional, racist act against Bubba,” NASCAR said in a statement. “We remain steadfast in our commitment

Lincoln County, Oregon, has exempted non-white people from a new order requiring that face coverings be worn in public—to prevent racial profiling.
Health officials announced last week residents must wear face coverings in public settings where they may come within six feet of another individual who is not from the same household. But people of color do not have to follow the new rule if they have “heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment” over wearing the masks, officials said.(Snip) With mask requirements becoming more common, activists have raised concerns that the directives could put non-white people in danger.
Comments:
Some graffiti is more equal than others as the Marxists push for a race war. Old monuments to people guilty of being white? Tear them down! Giant street "tagging" visible from outer space and bearing a message of BLACK supremacy? A lovely mural designed to being us all together.
