Leftists rioted and looted over 270 businesses in Minneapolis in the last three weeks following the death of George Floyd during an arrest in the city last month.
The Minneapolis City Council voted to replace the police department last week with a “community-led public safety system.”
The Minneapolis police have been abused by city officials and violent protesters.
So it should come as no surprise that seven police officers have resigned and several more are in the process of leaving.
NTD reported:
At least seven Minneapolis police officers have quit and another seven are in the process of resigning, citing a lack of support from department

So, where are all your social workers to help these poor criminals? When are the city council members going to get them out there taking care of all that needs to be done?

When you're damned if you do, damned if you don't, damned if you can't, damned if you won't, you're obviously in a no win sitch. If I were a Minneapolis cop, I'd turn in my hardware and get out before I did something that would be re-defined as a crime after the fact. The whole force should walk. Minneapolis deserves it.

And who could blame them?
Let Minneapolis try it without cops. Let them go to hell in a handbasket, and watch property values drop as the population drops by 30% or so. They deserve every bit of ruin, violence, unemployment, bankruptcy, scorn and opprobrium that comes their way.
This is what happens when you vote for Democrats.

And even then, # 3, how many of the remaining city residents would recognize that they had brought their misery upon themselves? The perverse beauty of being a leftoid is that personal responsibility is never on the radar screen.

Strength in numbers! The Thugs have figured it out. The police should take a page out of their Playbook! Time for ALL the force to walk out the door together. Either that, the they need to give the Mayor a 24 hour notice that they plan to do it. Enough! If they can't do their job without being charged for murder every time they are on the job, they might as well find other work. There isn't enough money to make them play Russian Roulette with their life every time they strap a gun on their side. The Black community had made it clear they will scream, yell, Riot, loot and Burn down the town every single time one of their own is taken down. I think the country is tired of it! If he hadn't resisted and grabbed that Taser, he would still be alive. He was the one that put this thing in motion. Police MUST have some protection from prosecution so they can do their job! Time to negotiate that with every single City and Town's Police Force!

I would think that there are many jobs for good dedicated cops across the country. Those that have made the move are wise. It will take twenty years to rebuild the Minneapolis PD even if they got decent support starting tomorrow. Have voters learned a lesson? We will see but I wouldn't bet on it.

Just wondering how many are 'on the job'??? You have to think street patrol, SWAT, Detectives, Bomb squad, comm guys, admin types....how many???

We will take them. Then again, that's what the thugs and Omar would like. Sharia law will take over.
No LEO should leave home not knowing if they come home. They are taunted, spit on, stabbed, cursed, shot and run over by vehicles. Worse yet, politicians take up for criminals.

This is great.
Think of all the $$$ the city can save on hiring new cops.
Which they can then put towards the additional clean up after the next riot.

This scenario about the cops leaving brings to mind that Jimmy Stewart movie, “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The town would have gone to hell if Mr. Stewart had offed himself. Put the Minneapolis cops in Stewart’s place and you get the picture.

Will brain dead Minneapolis enjoy living under Sahria Law? Except for the muzzies, I doubt it.

Only seven? It would serve Minneapolis right if they all resigned and let them live in their racial utopia.

This is not a surprise. I'm waiting for the entire force to walk out en masse. Who would Boy Blunder call for help then???
