The Demands of the Collective Black
Voices at Free Capitol Hill to the
Government of Seattle, Washington

Original Article

In credit to the people who freed Capitol Hill, this list of demands is neither brief nor simplistic. This is no simple request to end police brutality. We demand that the City Council and the Mayor, whoever that may be, implement these policy changes for the cultural and historic advancement of the City of Seattle, and to ease the struggles of its people. This document is to represent the black voices who spoke in victory at the top of 12th & Pine after 9 days of peaceful protest while under constant nightly attack from the Seattle Police Department. These are words from that night, June 8th, 2020.

There is simply no end into which these panderers will twist themselves into pretzel shapes to please the impossible to please braying mob. Always looking for breasts on an ant. Not happy when they get what they want and not happy when they don't. The thing I don't understand is why they stay in America. There are thousands of possible 3rd world utopias that are more suited to their political views and proclivities. SO GO LIVE THERE!!! No one is making them stay in America.

Black lives matter is an Oxymoron. They riot, kill, destroy, and burn cities if a cop kills a black man. How do they respond when black firefighters and black cops get killed? Where are they as blacks in Chicago are being massacred What are doing to help poor black people. Why aren’t they out there fighting for education and jobs and the american dream for their fellow brothers Why are they destroying the black neighborhoods so businesses move and will never come back. Why do they consider black conservatives not black enough

Two simple steps will stop police brutality; 1) Don't break the law; 2) If you adhere to step 1 but still have to have some kind of contact with the po-po, be respectful and polite, not aggressive and argumentative. Most cops don't want to do any more paperwork than necessary, and would rather spend their time catching real criminals rather than dealing with some hot headed woke victim.

...Written by college sophomores who don't know what "separate but equal" means or meant. Trump should make the Dems disown this. He should claim that these demands represent the demands of the Democrats who do not denounce them. Make them own it! That puts the Dems in the position of walking that narrow line between supporting peaceful protests and this idiocy.

The protesters who created an “autonomous zone” in Seattle have hijacked the Black Lives Matter message, according to a community council that works to foster relationships between black residents and police in the city. The group, the African American Community Advisory Council, visited the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone on Thursday — and were booed by the crowd there when they voiced support for black police officers, KOMO News reported. “Black lives do matter but there are also black lives that are police lives,” one woman from the group said, according to the report. “They feel the same way that you do.”

One of the judges on the panel overseeing an appeal to force Judge Emmet Sullivan to let the Department of Justice (DOJ) drop its prosecution against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn said Friday that the court might have appointed an "intemperate amicus" to oppose the DOJ. It was an apparent swipe at outside counsel John Gleeson, who wrote a lengthy 73-page brief this week opposing the DOJ's motion to dismiss the Flynn case, in which he said the government's arguments "are riddled with inexplicable and elementary errors of law and fact" and "are not credible as the real reasons for the dismissal of a criminal charge."

A ghost from the old Senate that haunts the chamber’s judicial confirmation fights seems to be disappearing from the floor this year — and might be fading away for good. At about this time during presidential election years, senators have invoked the so-called Thurmond Rule, an unwritten agreement that calls for the chamber to stop approving circuit court nominations in the few months before Election Day. Named after the late South Carolina Republican Sen. Strom Thurmond, senators from both sides have used it to block action on a president’s appeals court picks.

A portrait of an anonymous woman in Tudor garb has adorned the walls of Great Britain’s most prominent royal residences for hundreds of years. Researchers had long thought that the sitter’s identity was lost to history, but now, a new discovery has enabled experts to put a name to the face: Mary Boleyn, older sister of Anne Boleyn, the ill-fated second wife of Henry VIII. A team from the Jordaens Van Dyck Panel Paintings Project (JVDPPP) announced the find in a statement last month. The painting, previously known simply as Portrait of a Woman, is part of the United Kingdom’s Royal Collection and currently hangs

Jay Inslee was oblivious to the anarchist insurrection taking over Seattle Wednesday when he was asked about the rogue militia during a coronavirus press briefing. “Governor, I’d like to ask you about what’s going on in Seattle. There’s this thing called the ‘Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.’ What’s your thought about the fact that the protestors have taken that over and not allowing people to come and go freely?” one reporter asked. “Well that’s news to me,” Inslee said caught completely blindsided by what was happening in his state’s largest city.

While the coronavirus pandemic has impacted our way of life, it is thankfully still true that no one U.S. senator can make law in America. Most legislation, as infrequent as it occurs these days, is still the result of arduous negotiation and steadfast determination. But what if, for the moment, we consider what the world might look like if the vote of one senator prevailed above all others and he or she was able to single-handedly decide the direction of our country (a little “Twilight Zone” music here). Since Joe Biden is the presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party and would have an outsized influence on what policies do prevail,

The gargantuan Yellowstone hotspot (also known as the Yellowstone supervolcano) has erupted at least 10 times over the past 16 million years, permanently altering the geography of North America, periodically warping Earth's climate and throwing flakes of airborne ash to every corner of the world. Now, the discovery of two ancient supereruptions — including the single largest in the hotspot's history — reveals an unexpected trend: The Yellowstone hotspot's activity may finally be waning.

Those who live in the far north in author George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” novels live by one principle: “We do not kneel.” They call themselves the “Free Folk.” That used to be a label that was proudly worn by all Americans. But a still-too-unquestioned movement pushing guilt-by-associated-skin-tone has begun to undo one of this nation’s bedrock ideals. The kneeling phenomenon demanded by the radical left in the wake of George Floyd’s death—and embraced by those guilted into submission—creates a two-tiered social stratification of “kneelers” and “those who refuse to bend the knee” that’s wholly un-American.
