Critics in the modern era have criticized "Gone With the Wind" for its depiction of black people. Idiots. Probably the best movie Hollyweird ever made. It had history, good acting, good costumes, struggles, drama, love, hate, story from a good book, good acting, good director, fantastic music, etc.

I could have predicted this. Watch for libraries pulling Mark Twain from their shelves next. Buy books and movies (westerns, WWII films) before they are also gone with the wind.

It appears we have reached the point where we live in Fahrenheit 451. Soon, wewill all have to escape to hide in some theater to watch the old classics while the rest of the world burns books and films.

These people have zero brains. They don't realize that by purifying history there will be nothing left for them to protest or get angry about.

This is to satisfy the mob. P.C., B.S. You can never satisfy the mob. They will always be back for more. And more. Never ever give in to the mob. Get a hard copy of " Gone With the Wind". Just to have it.

Haven’t seen “Song of The South” in a while either. They always start by burning the books then they burn the people.

Have Ted Turner colorize it so all of the white actors are black. Problem solved. (Oops, I failed to capitalize "Black"; deduct 5 social credit points from my account.)

With all the monuments gone and history conveniently erased if you try two years from now to mention the "civil war" you will receive a blank stare and the question "civil what ?" At that point you must ask what the black people are so upset about.

My favorite movie, I have 3 copies. Nice boxed set of tapes I received for Christmas 1987. Plus, I have a copy of Song of the South. I knew this day was coming. How do you wipe off a hundred years from a countries history?

just remember, all those E-books you "bought"? chances are you really don't own them. they can be deleted and modified without your permission or knowledge and you certainly can't share them or pass them on to your kids. I don't know about videos, but i would suspect they have the same ownership rights as e-books. That is, you don't technically own them like you would own a hard copy book. If you can't hold it in your hand you may not own it. This is something i think Glen Beck has correct. Get possession of original source material. even recent editions may have had "objectionable" passages removed or modified.
