New York City Mayor has announced that five streets in each borough will be renamed after prominent leaders in the black community in honor of the Black Lives Matter movement. Bill de Blasio revealed the plans for the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens and Brooklyn after a Sunday meeting with activists–including Gwen Carr–the mother of Eric Garner who was killed when NYPD put him in a choke hold in 2014. The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast.
