Rocks hurled at police and subsequent gunshots punctuated a tense standoff between as many as 80 officers and around 60 people in Englewood late Thursday night, police said. At 11:30 p.m., Englewood Police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the intersection of Palisade Avenue and Palisade Place, Deputy Chief Gregory Halstead said in an email. When officers arrived, they saw around 60 people standing in the middle of the street on Palisade Place, he said.(Snip) When police got out of their cars, the crowd grew hostile and started throwing rocks and other objects in the officers’ direction, said Halstead.

The veneer of civilization is very thin, barely covering the barbarian heart just under the surface of humanity. The old social contract was based upon our God's Ten Commandments. Now that the godless think they have parity they are hell-bent to institute a new social contract based upon the ever shifting sands of socialism. "Its a nice country you have there, it would be a shame to have anything happen to it."

Chris Wray is doing a marvelous job of arresting the organizers and leaders of these terrorist organizations. So far the terrorists have spent two weeks rioting and burning, and nothing heard from the FBI domestic terrorism unit. Mr. Wray, would you please pull the FBI agents off investigating Trump, and address the rioting and burning in the streets? Mr. Wray is not someone anyone would describe as active.

Why is it ok for these Marxist clowns to throw objects that could injure and even kill an officer without any threat of arrest, but let one of these idiots get pushed by a cop, and the cop is arrested or fired. Why is it not ok for the police to defend themselves against people who are obviously out to cause harm and damage to public and private property. If the police are not allowed to do it, then it's up to your average citizen to defend their life and property by any means they have at their disposal.
