Former CIA officer Valerie Plame was defeated in her Democratic primary race Tuesday night. She was competing for an open congressional seat representing the third congressional district of New Mexico.
Plame played upon her history as a former U.S. intelligence operative whose identity was exposed after her diplomat husband disputed U.S. intelligence having to do with the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Plame's memoir "Fair Game" was been made into a film starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts.

This lady and her hubbie acted like they were self righteous government employees / characters straight out of a Tom Clancy novel. Kind of like Andrew McCabe.

Just wondering if a campaign based on linking yourself to the CIA and the "intelligence community" may be a losing strategy.

Her once-husband Wilson is dead. Now her political career is dead.

OP, Joe Wilson passed away a couple of years ago.
I'm thrilled she lost. Maybe she can go find another job. She acted like a Prima Dona back in 2003 with her wise guy husband and was applauded by Hollywood and the media for being unfairly outed. What! She had a desk job. She campaigned here in NM wearing expensive Western clothes and turquoise jewelry. This defeat was a victory for the humble people of New Mexico. Basically they told her to get lost.

So funny to realize that these prior darlings of the media are now not quite up to the standards of the new hate America crowd. If she had only thrown a few Molotov Cocktails in the last few days she might have had a chance!

Wasn't Carter Page a active CIA operative, and was outed by the previous administration?

"was been made?" That's just beautiful. Any second-grade girl would get a "D" for English like that. Like I would ever see a Sean Penn movie. His star rose and fell with "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" before he began to think that he was intelligent.

"Plame played upon her history as a former U.S. intelligence operative whose identity was exposed..." Notice the use of the passive tense. For years, President Bush's advisor Scooter McClain was investigated and castigated by the Dims/MSM for "blowing a heroic spy's deep cover." Never mind that her friends and neighbors all knew she worked for the CIA. In actuality, it was SOS Colin Powells's Number Two, Terry Drinkwater, who exposed her. Powell knew this but let Scooter swing for two years. Since Powell was and is a RINO, the MSM buried this bombshell.

Evidently Plame and Wilson split in 2017 OP. Wiki bio is still holding to the lie that Novak exposed her, when the reality is, Joe Wilson did that years before. Everyone knew who she worked for, it was no big secret. So glad this liar lost, and I guess the CIA is still the kiss of death for political careers, thanks to Brennan and company.

Her commercials were foolish and childish, one showing her driving backwards "like they taught me in the CIA."
She had nothing to offer the ultra liberals of New Mexico that they didn't already have-except maybe lots of extra baggage.

She could hook up with Christopher Steele, Fusion GPS and the DNC, they could use another inept spook.

Her identity had been exposed long before W was president.
She appeared in a European magazine with a picture and a caption identifying her at working for the CIA.
The news media has know this but apparently refuse to admit it.

George Bush's lack of effort to prevent Libby's life from being destroyed to fuel media/DNC propaganda, proved what a total coward he is. A political dolt who played a cowboy on TV and kissed up to any globalist player behind the scenes. His critics may have been right for all the wrong reasons.

Did she run on a campaign of, "I got somebody busted for outing me, when I wasn't even undercover. How much could I do for you!"
