Virginia's National Guard has known better governors. I doubt if Virginia's current excuse for a governor even knows of "his" Guard's service on 6 June 1944 at Normandy. Perhaps he should ask someone about the "Bedford Boys."

There seem to be disturbing similarities between the Whitehouse 'protest', and the Benghazi 'protest. Both asked for help, and did not receive it. Fortunately, the Whitehouse is better defended than an embassy in Benghazi. There were reports that the President was moved to the bunker over the weekend, and over 50 Secret Service agents were injured. Things got serious folks.

#14 I fear that many of us are being overwhelmed by the toxicity of modern Democrats. I’ve held my tongue for 8 years re: the shame I now feel for having given my life to military service (retired Army 2012) and recently saw a post from a fellow retiree who felt as I did. It is more common than I realized. Conservative men believed we were fighting for a country that still existed but was actually just a memory. The feeling runs so deep that it’s not something that can be fought. We’re no longer a representative republic but merely stooges for the political class who allow us to have a few crumbs. To assuage our grief, we moan in an online “salon.” Kinda pathetic when you think about it (although I’m still fighting from the inside to serve veterans as an employee of the Executive Branch). Something big and bloody may be on the horizon. I don’t see any other way to get this nation back but hope I’m wrong. It could get ugly.

The Democrat party is at war with America. That is the clear message of the Democrats’ responses to the crises that have engulfed our nation over the last six months, made our streets war zones, and destroyed the small business communities that are the lifeblood of our system. When the country was attacked by a deadly virus from China in January, the Democrats attacked the president’s efforts to stop it at the border, then blamed him for the 100,000 deaths that followed. Yet Democrat governors controlled the health systems of every major center of the covid19 devastation and were 100% responsible for any policies that failed.

Government officials should investigate the treatment of protesters who gathered near the White House on Monday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Tuesday. “Secretary [of Defense Mark] Esper, General [Mark] Milley should not allow the U.S. military to come within a country mile of these ugly stunts,” he stated in remarks given from the Senate floor, according to the Hill. “The administration is using the military as a tool to intimidate American citizens and the Department of Defense IG must immediately launch an investigation into how the U.S military was used and whether it was consistent with the laws of our nation,” he continued.
