Stick to selling quality goods. Leave the politics to the more intelligent electorate.

The criminal class, as usual going on a looting spree whenever they think the police are overwhelmed or leashed by their bosses. In this case, it has been both at various times and places.
More reasons to stay away from the Blue-run open sewers that Dem cities have become.
And I am TOTALLY sick of these Dem fools, and even some alleged Republicans telling ME that this is MY problem, that this is MY fault. Not my problem, not my fault, I follow the laws. This is an inner city criminal class problem. The overwhelming majority of the faces I saw in the looting mobs were black. That conforms to the standard pattern established by their past behavior.

Hope the thieves register their purchase. Like this line from boxer Bernard Hopkins to jocks who buy expensive watches: You've got a Rolex. I've got a Timex. They have the same time fool.

Does anyone else think that if the media had not presented the false narrative that Trevon Martin and the thug in Ferguson were murdered for being black and other such reports, that the current riots may not be happening. The media is doing this intentionally and Rush is right, if the victim were white we never would have heard about this.

I remember when Daily was mayor and there was going to be an uprising. He said "no looting will be tolerated. Police will shoot to kill" There was no looting.

The virtue signaling from Republicans has been disgusting. Check out the super ambitious Nikki Hailey’s comments yesterday if you can stomach it without wretching. Tucker Carlson is 100% right about this super ambitious and self serving RINO.

All serial numbers of high end watches are tracked especially Rolexes. You won't be able sell these for anything approaching their true value. Anyone possessing these watches will have them confiscated if they are arrested and trying to pawn one will get you arrested. No collector will touch them.

Downstream from all of this, how do people recover from the losses of thousands and thousands of businesses ? Insurance for many.
Insurance companies are loaded with cash. This will cost them immensely. I wonder who they've backed politically in the past and will that change in the future. Many are based in the east and surely lean left. Perhaps they'll refuse to insure downtown businesses, or raise rates so dramatically that businesses must move to cheaper digs.
Thriving downtowns in many cities are dying and if WuFlu didn't kill 'em this may have finished the job.

They be gettin' their rep'ratins....whatever that is - money from whitey.
This is pure criminality at this point. This has absolutely nothing to do with protest or anything else. Just thievery. Shoot the looters.

Why do New Yorkers still tolerate a mayor who has emasculated police and exposed citizens to the greatest of danger?
Put him on the street and see what happens now.
Looting will continue unopposed until everything is gone and then they move on to the suburbs where we have guns and I will shoot to kill.

Beside the point , but you can cut that valuation by 90% because Rolex is notoriously overpriced.

Baffling to me, as to #13, how all this merchandise was in cases or drawers. Many years ago I worked in a diamond department office (a locked space) in a high end jewelry store. In order to get adequate insurance coverage (after having had a huge robbery several years earlier) all of our merchandise, the valuable jewelry in the store, went into vaults.
The sad thing for all the merchants in NYC and around the country is that I think they trusted the police to protect their businesses.
When I was looking at the videos in NYC of the wreckage, and the barbarian hordes roaming and pillaging and reveling in a macabre dance of criminality, with debris light enough to drift in the wind or scattered like it had fallen from the sky, images from 9/11 came to mind. And I am sad. I'm furious. But i'm sad.
I'm sad that so many, many democrats are celebrating this, and they disgust me.

It looks like Rolex watches will become a sign of the hood, rather than success. Rolex better avoid and social justice posturing and protect their brand. Right now, I don't think I would want to wear a Rolex watch and be mistaken for a member of the hood.

But, #3, Joe Biden says that we should not use what people have done in the past to judge who they are now. If that were true we would be forgiven for slavery and this whole rioting thing is for naught.

If they plan to sell the Rolexes, good luck! When they set up shop on Canal St. or under the sleeves of their shirts they’ll get $100 per watch, just like all the other “Rolexes”.

I'm with #13 & 21 - Why was merchandise left, not only in the stores but in window displays? Its not like it was the first night of looting. Also, I noticed the lame "boarding" of windows in front of Macy's. They were free-standing three-sided barricades and not anchored. These boards and the 2x4's supporting them became weapons for the rioters. I have no sympathy for stupidity. The smart set of Manhattan have reaped their whirlwind.

The watch store actually left their high priced merchandise out knowing what had been going on in the city the past week? Someone lacked common sense.

Each looter ought to save one for himself that shows the date, to better keep track of how much longer until his sentence will be completed.

I've never wanted a Rolex watch. Me Seiko watch is 30 years old and js as a Timex, it keeps on ticking. A Rolex is nothing more that an open invittaion to theft and possibly murder.
