President Trump lit into governors in a conference call Monday morning about the riots. A tape of the call was leaked to CBS News while other news outlets are reporting from other leakers on the call. (Photo) CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe reported on the leaked recording:“JUST IN: President Trump unloads on the nation’s governors on a call, calls on them to step up enforcement: “You have to dominate, if you don’t dominate you’re wasting your time. They’re going to run over you, you’re going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate.”
It can't be coincidence that rioters choose cities run by liberal democrat mayors, who will issue a stand down order to their police chief. It would be interesting to see if there are donations from Soros to those mayoral campaigns.

Convert those damn taxpayer financed football stadiums from Covid into Holding Pens to process the arrested Rioters & Looters. Load’em in to railroad cars and take them to unused Army camps for de-briefing and to figure out what prison they s/b sentenced for 10 years.

I love it. I can hear their little heads exploding all over the country.
What other president has ever laid down the truth like that?
It's amazing to me that the anarchists have attacked Democratic-run cities almost exclusively.

Build more prisons and stick the lawbreakers in them. We don't need them loose and destroying our businesses, homes, houses of worship, public buildings and monuments. Not to mention lives ruined or lost.
We cannot be governed by being PC.
Welcome to Civil War ll.
It's going to be a long hot summer and it's only just begun.
All this for the stolen life of a thug.
I want justice. We all want justice. We desperately need law and order restored. And only then can we speak of justice.

Trump is exactly right. ts about time these gutless mayors & governors go on the offensive and take whats left of their cities back. Its the same people who start this every time. Its the same groups & leaders who again take advantage of an emotional situation by exploiting the weak minded people in these communities. When its all done its the people who live in these communities that are stuck with the carnage. For all you dummies who live there. Where are you going to shop now. Oh, that Target is burned to the ground, oh, that grocery store was burned to the ground, oh, that drug store to, along with the auto parts store and the pizza joint. Then, Antifa and the Black Lives Matter groups all leave so YOU can live with the aftermath. You can now go back to killing each other on a daily basis, murdering men, women and children without a protest in site. Why, because nobody freakin cares. You've been setup again. When do you people wake up.

Another "perfect" call. If people listen to it they will hear the truth about what he said. But, sadly, many will hear the "spin" of the Fake News Media.
Notice how he still gives praise to many people? He singles out the poor performers and praises those doing well. He doesn't paint with a broad brush.
Also, "go to the tape" when it sounds like he says something questionable. He is taken out of context too often (e.g. Charlottesville and "go back to your home countries..." ). He's a sloppy speaker, sometimes, and you have to see for yourself what he was saying or trying to say.

Terrorists (foreign or domestic) all need to go to GITMO! They can build the hanging scaffold and the firing squad wall there!

These demoweak mayors are all on the side of the rioters because they are all convinced beyond belief that their efforts will result in Trump's defeat in November. So whatever it takes is fine. Burn baby burn.

I'll bet he's telling governors to dominate the rioters, not the protestors.

I suspect Trump is trying to do with the riots the same thing he did with the China virus: He's making Democrat governors and mayors step up to take actions, so the failures will rest squarely on them. He is attempting to avoid the trap set by the Marxists who have planned these riots. I'm not sure he can, though. It's a tough one, to watch the Democrats sit back and cheer on the people destroying their cities.

Absolutely the right thing to do...call out their Blue Governors and Blue Mayors for their complicity disguised as weakness...blue states and cities being burned by blue thugs...eventually the suburbs will be targeted...and they WILL protect themselves...

Well I may be the only one but may I say it anyway. I understand and I relish a Republican President letting elected Dems reap what they have sown. However, when it comes to the horrific optics of AMERICA’s premier city, home of our government and our President with flames encircling the White House I believe it looked weak for Trump to let it happen. He should have drawn a line and said he will not allow our historic places to be desecrated or destroyed. The desecrated sights today should have been protected by as many military guards as necessary BEFORE last night. He should have expressed real anger at 50 Secret Service agents being injured. I feel he is listening to squish advisers. You all know I love Trump.

Here in MN all we hear is sympathy for the “protestors” and some great guy called Floyd. No reports on arrests (obviously a small number). No one is talking about the rights of all the people to carry on with their lives and not be subject to fires, looting, livelihoods destroyed, road closings and curfews. Had the governor (who incidentally spent 25 years in the national guard) done something on day one of the looting and burning, the rest of the country might have been spared. And boy mayor, totally unqualified, gave them space to burn and blamed it on ancient history. We are totally doomed until someone figures out that you don’t allow bad behavior unless you want more. Looks like we want more, please.

He is absolutely right. Looters will be shot should be all over TV. Social Media should be shut down until the Riots are over. Anyone arrested should face PRISON time, not a night in Jail and release. There has to be a consequence for smashing and burning someone's Business. Until that happens, the Thugs will run the City!

It’s now easy for everyone who has been paying attention to the riots, and the rioters, as to which politicians stand for law and order and which politicians stand with the rioters. Clearly President Trump is standing with law and order while the leftist and liberal Democrat Mayors and Governors, when you read between the lines of what they have been saying, are standing with the rioters thinking that all the havoc being caused will hurt Trump’s chances of being re-elected.

The liberal squishes in State Houses will hem and haw and lose the advantage. Pity the great conservative governors who have to deal with liberal squish mayors.

And Gov. Half Whitmer said what the President had told them was horrible. We may be over estimating her brain power by calling her "Half".....may need to rethink that. Perhaps Quarter Whitmer.....
