DENVER — Families living near site of Denver protests over the death of George Floyd are dealing with the effects even as they try to stay away. “People started screaming and running and then tear gas,” said Jacqulyn Murray who lives just a block from the Capitol Building. Murray and her partner Michael Guzman say the tear gas seeped into their sixth floor apartment Thursday, the first night of the protests. “A lot of tears, stinging in the nose and coughing. We just couldn’t breathe for like 30 seconds,” said Murray. “The moment we opened up the windows, it

What is a protestor? What is a terrorist?
It is time to identify the differences and act accordingly. If you are a protester, you have certain rights but there should also be boundaries. If you are a Terrorist you should be identified as such and be stripped of your citizenship and thrown in Gitmo. The leaders of the group should immediately be held accountable and be set as an example of what is in store for others that are thinking of doing the same.

Hey, that's my former bus stop, Civic Center Station, in the story photo.
In preparation for retirement, my wife and I moved away from the People's Republic of Denver two years ago to the west slope for this very reason. Urban chaos in Denver is steadily worsening. And the homeless crowd is increasing. And the stench of marijuana smoke downtown is common. Spent syringes left on the ground by the junkies is also common. Societal decay. Yes, folks who live in downtown Denver. Elections DO have consequences. Former Gov. Hickenlooper (now masquerading as a dim Senate candidate), this has got YOUR name on it.
Would be most interesting to identify the vermin who organized these so-called protests. But, you know the Denver msm won't go there.

And current Gov. Polis and his husband refuse to reside in the Governor's Mansion located near the Capitol in favor of their comfy home in Boulder. Gee, I wonder why.

The amount of tear gas you got is nothing like the amount used in basic training.

Look, I am getting sick and tired of witnessing from afar the destruction and violence in places that are governed dems! If you don't like the consequences of tear gas, etc and the violence and the fear...stop voting for the bullies and evil corrupt dems you put into power who don't give a raging poop about you. Sorry, I have no sympathy for the left's domain.

Did you know that around 70 people were shot in Chicago between last Friday and Tuesday ( Memorial day Weekend)
WHY is there no rioting/ protests there??
Is is because harming blacks is only BAD when white people do it...??
70 blacks shot by other blacks is jus' 'nother' day in da 'hood...you wouldn't understand ...
How come King Zippy Hussein The Great ( who currently is unemployed with lots of time on his hands when not covering up his Coup Attenpt) has not done ONE thing to address this situation in his "home town" ???

There used to be a saying 'If you buy a home near an airport you have no right to protest about the noise'. That can be updated to 'If you live in a large liberal city you have no right to complain about poor services, high taxes, lousy schools and high crime rates'.

Those people would be the voters who put the people into office who do not allow the police to shoot rabid animals. NO sympathy here.
Minneapolis police kill an allegedly innocent man in handcuffs but are not allowed to use force against those who think that burning, looting and destroying a city is a legal release of steam that has built up in feral subhumans.

I'm not sure I understand Ms. Murray's complaint. The chances are high that she voted for this so it seems to me the individuals for whom she voted are honoring their promises to the electorate and giving them what they wanted, So, what exactly is her problem?
Seems Denver needs more "Mike Baxters".

The longer I live, the more I thank God that I was born and live in a small Southern city. The same could be said of all the small towns across the country. The big cities are out of control.

It is not just pious liberal rats in cities who think they know everything and then are stunned when basic reality schools them, it is the little vermin they send to college to get educated. The swarms of social justice losers who think they know stuff and the violent losers who realize they are never going to amount to anything so they smash stuff, are being lead by paid thugs. ALL of it nurtured and showcased by the evil media. Hey, it's a story full of blood and hate. Lots of lowlifes to pick from. The scum claim they are going to 'move into the suburbs.' OK, try it boys. Let's see how that works out for you. Even in fascist NY state, there are tons of people who will cap your 'activist' behind. Show up with your rocks and torches and find out exactly what the effective range is of OO buckshot. Probably a bad idea to stand close to anyone with a lighter and a bottle of gas.
