The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has changed its guidance once again, acknowledging new information on its website was confusing about the low risk of contracting COVID-19 from contaminated surfaces. The CDC is now saying coronavirus can “possibly” be spread on surfaces and objects, though the virus is mainly transmitted between people. This is not the first time the nation’s premier public health agency has had to reverse course on information related to the coronavirus pandemic, including the agency’s evolving guidance on whether a face mask should or should not be worn in public.(Snip) The CDC initially changed the information

Investigate the CDC. Stop funding all the sex-related "studies". Maybe if they paid attention to real contagions, plagues, pestilences, we'd have better information based in facts and truth, science.

Wait, last week the same CDC said it was highly unlikely to spread vai surface contacts. Thank goodness the experts know what their doing (sar off).

They're making it up as they go along. The CDC has demonstrated its ineptitude throughout this debacle. The idiocy continues. No wonder Dr. Birx finally confessed she has no confidence in anything the CDC says. The rest of us knew this after week 2 of national incarceration.

The logic of “settled science”. We can’t even figure out all the facts of this microscopic bug. But we’re suppose to believe that humans have the capacity to understand Earth’s climate in its trillions of minutiae? I think they just threw the goalposts in the garbage.

"may be possible"........is a long way from my wife's friend freaking out and scrubbing her doorknob and counters 5 times a day....as if the whole Russian Army was marching through on the hour. Nobody home except her, and yet she scrubs away. Of course, she's a lib, with a PhD. And has been an airhead for the last 50 years that we have known her.

The CDC must have heard from: A: China, B: George Soros, C: Bill Gates, D: The Democrat Committee.
By the way, unless you cut open your chest and rub it on the surface, how is contamination possible? The lungs want to know.

This is why nobody, Dr Scarf included, believes anything that comes out of the CDC. They spin from one position to another faster than a whirling dervish. It's quite obvious they have no clue what they're doing, they're just making it up as they go along. It's best we simply ignore the CDC.

Wipe everything down with disinfectants!
It does not spread easily through touching surfaces or objects!
"It may be possible' to spread on surfaces.
No clear evidence of human to human transmission!
Isolate yourself! Stay at home!
Masks are NOT effective!
Stay tuned for the next flip flop.

In the past 4 years, I have had 3 surgeries. Each doctor had to give the 'possibility of death' line. It's was usually followed with 'but you could also die in a car accident on the way home today.'
(My father died while he was watching TV, not because he was watching TV.)

Gee, I wonder why nobody is listening to these endless pronouncements that seem to change by the hour, and who are these Nazi spies who call 911 when people get together in numbers that exceed 10? There was an letter in the Baltimore Sun from some hysterical loon all bent out of shape because there were thousands of people walking on the broad walk not social distancing many with no masks on in Ocean City. Oh the horror! These people were OUTSIDE in the sun with the ocean breeze blowing.

Just more information to sift through. So much information that is correct and so much that is incorrect it hardly behooves anyone to believe anything about coronavirus.

If the surface contains copper it will kill most germs. And I am pretty sure it will kill viruses as well. We should go back to brass door knobs. And brass push plates on push open doors in the work place and at stores.
Not the shiny brass kind you get at Home Depot which even though it is a brass plating over steel which would be just fine except that they have coated it with a poly coat to prevent tarnishing so it will stay shiny for a long time. And that poly stops the ion process which kills the organisms. So un-coated brass and copper. It will tarnish up. But even when tarnished it still works. There's a lot of info on the internet about the properties of copper for killing germs and viruses.
This has nothing much to do with wearing a copper band or copper infused clothing which is mostly a bunch of bull hockey IMO.

I've picked the information that made my life easier and happier, and I'm just going to stick with that. It's like the butter, eggs and milk thing, good for you but then bad for you but then back to good for you. At 77years, I've apparently made mostly the right choices on what to believe.
