A big construction project at Gov. JB Pritzker’s Wisconsin horse farm has some questioning whether the governor is honoring the spirit of his own stay-at-home order.
FOX 32 News watched Thursday as construction workers from Illinois crossed the border to work on the governor’s farm. Pritzker, though, says there is no double standard because construction workers are exempt. FOX 32 wandered over the Wisconsin border into Kenosha County and found more than 20 construction workers -- nearly all from Illinois -- helping build a massive new home and several outbuildings on Pritzker's horse farm

Construction workers are expendable.
Dime a dozen.
Many vote Republican.
Slaves are expensive and moody.
But there's a fresh boat of strapping young Irish lads every day.
OK....Metsikan....but same-same to the limousine libs.

Like every boss, Pritzker considers his employees essential. Unlike other bosses, Pritzker has the authority to unilaterally categorize them as such.
With apologies to Orwell, the governor ought to call his spread "Animal Farm" -- where some animals are more equal than others...

Typical ruling elite - do as I say or I jail you, not do as I do because I'm special. What a tool.

Let’s go one step down. Construction of essential things is essential.
Obviously an elite’s horse farm is essential.

Maybe there's no double standard, but shouldn't politicians be willing to make some sacrifices since they are asking their constituents to sacrifice? Most people don't have enough money right now for construction projects, so "essential" is a meaningless term in current circumstances.

Pugsley Pritzker's career is over, along with others of his kind. Having money does not mean that leadership or intelligence comes with it.

Did he pay them out of his own pocket?
Were they still covered by workmen's compensation, or other insurance should one get hurt while in Wisconsin?
Could he be the next Illinois governor to end up in jail?

And let me guess, it was Pritzker who deemed construction workers exempt, while forcing American citizens under his jurisdiction to stay at home until he tells them otherwise. When did Americans decide freedom was no longer essential?
