Europeans must move to a “more plant-based diet”, according to new EU food policy, which also revealed the bloc will promote “insect-based proteins and meat substitutes”. The European Commission’s Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy for creating a “fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly” food system insists that such a transition “will not happen without a shift in people’s diets”. “Moving to a more plant-based diet with less red and processed meat and with more fruits and vegetables will reduce not only risks of life-threatening diseases, but also the environmental impact of the food system,”

Sorry. I'm sticking to my steaks, burgers, ribs, salmon on an alder plank and an occasional beer can chicken thank you very much. Sausage and brats aren't bad either.

Forget Brexit, this may just create one big mass Exit! That is, if any of them are smart enough to wake up. More reasons why global governance is bad!! These unaccountable bureaucratic leeches are as bad as the UN! They are little authoritarian tyrants leeching off the citizens of member countries who want to dictate how everyone lives. I thought the EU was only created to make it easier for Europeans to travel and engage in commerce over national borders. I didn't know they saw themselves as rulers over all those countries who tell people how they must live and what they must eat!! I suppose the next step is soylent green! Then, I assume when you get old and are no longer useful (to them), they will have you go to a place to die (with their help, of course) where they will show you a movie of nice sceneries as the life slips out of your body. ...or maybe they will just stick you in a nursing home with a lot of COVID-19 patients and let the virus take you out!

The elite EU Members will still enjoy their haute cuisine at their every so important summits. This is for 'the people'... the bien peasants that need to be taught how to be the most useful of idiots. Live in the cold and dark in your tiny houses and peddle your bicycles to save the planet from running out of fuel (for their private jets and to light their many mansions). Suckers.

Just turn the children out into the fields and eat the wild plants and available bugs. The children not yet aborted, I mean. Eat 'em raw - don't want to add to the carbon footprint.

Fork your Farm. I plan to start the summer off with a couple of nice Angus steaks and I don't see any grasshoppers in my future. I'm sure they had Greta's blessing before making this announcement.

To what? Live long and hate every day of kit? I think I caught a glimpse of their future at the zoo where the chimps were eating bugs off each other's hide.

How soon before the Murder Inc. party adopts the European policy? We're already subjected to chemical laden fake meat. Now it's on to eating mashed bugs? Demonrats should just go outside and trap every bug, fly, spider, cockroach, etc. they can find and start eating gourmet meals.

To me, two of the more important things justifying the development of civilization were to stop sleeping on the ground and to stop eating bugs. Anyone wanting to keep doing those things is welcome to do so; but I have no desire at all to revert on those things.
