Cuomo attempts to deflect blame
of deadly nursing home coronavirus
debacle on to Trump

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Saturday doubled down on his state's now-scrapped nursing home policy that critics say contributed to thousands of coronavirus deaths and instead blamed the problem on President Trump and his administration. "New York followed the president's agencies' guidance," Cuomo said Saturday at his press conference. ".... What New York did was follow what the Republican Administration said to do. That's not my attempt to politicize it. It's my attempt to depoliticize it. So don't criticize the state for following the president's policy." The governor's office said New York's original nursing home policy was in line with a March 13 directive

Hey liar Coumo, just what were those specific policies that you followed regarding nursing homes. Really you can't say. Seems Gov Witless in Michigan followed similar policies. Yet, if they were Trump Admin policies, why didn't all the Republican governors follow them. What a pathetic POS you are, your policies killed people, but you aren't man enough to accept the blame for it. Typical Democrat, zero ethics. zero character and zero morals.

This is exactly why Trump set guidelines but let the governors make the final decision. He know that if HE gave orders and the governors goofed it up, HE would be blamed. A lot of liberals complained that Trump didn't take over but that that would be dicey legally plus from a strategic perspective, the situation is different in different places. The governors should know their states and their needs best. Of course for liberal governors, that's a different story, which we have found out. It's tragic that Cuomo is such a fool but THEY voted for him. Maybe they should be looking for more competent leaders.

If some obscure federal agency told Cuomo that he should jump off a cliff would he do it? At the time COVID-19 was known to be a very contagious virus, common sense should have told Cuomo, and he maut have been told by healthcare providers in NY, that once he started allowing patients positive for COVIN-19 to return to nursing homes full of very susceptible elderly people with underlying conditions after being hospitalized that those COVIN-19 that those positive patients would spread the virus throughout the nursing homes and that is exactly what occurred. It is impossible for the President to know about all the guidance that the many federal agencies are pumping out daily in a national emergency. Those COVIN-19 positive patients should have isolated from the nursing homes and admitted to a special COVID-19 only treatment facility or on the Navy hospital ship.

I quit a job with a company that was building (incompetently) an oil exploration ship which was a floating death trap. After informing them of the multiple safety hazards they disregarded my memos. As a long time experienced key person in the chain of command had I stayed on and a multiple fatality accident had occurred I would have been personally criminally liable. If what Cuomo said was true, other states would have instituted the same policy and there would have been an outcry against it. None of that happened. Cuomo is lying. Know who will believe this? Trash like Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and Schumer. Don't be surprised when they use this to launch another nonsense impeachment investigation.

He has watermelons in his sack for claiming that it is President Trump's fault. If you want to look at a comparison of Governors, take a good look at Desantis of Florida and Cuoma of New York.

Funny, I may be wrong but I certainly don't have recollection of any administrative suggestions or guidelines that said "send people with active covid 19 in their systems to nursing homes". This is typical BS put out by Cuomo, and the Democrats. If you can't handle the facts and the scientific evidence, lie and blow smoke from all orifices.

What a drama queen we have for a governor... He screamed for thousands of ventilators, test kits, masks, gowns, and additional hospital beds, all of which were provided to NYC courtesy of the president. President Trump made sure the Javits Center was fully stocked with 2000 hospital beds and what does our governor do? He places sick patients in nursing homes. Less than one fifth of the Javits Center spaces were ever utilized. Incompetent boob.

The problem, # 8, is that the sad truth of the legal industry is that elderly, sick people do not generate the dollars that class action requires. They are dear, wonderful people (I'm one ... well maybe not the dear, wonderful part, just the old) worth much to those who know them and love them but there is generally no earning potential, no long-term companionship, etc. to attach a dollar figure to.

Demonrat governors are all about killing people and when caught, blame someone else for what they purposely do themselves.

The Nordic countries of Denmark and Finland are reporting no increase in the spread of coronavirus since opening their respective schools, further suggesting that children are less likely to be sickened by COVID-19 and spread the virus. Denmark began sending its children back to school on April 15, just over a month after Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen issued an extensive nationwide lockdown. They were kept spaced apart in classrooms and on playgrounds, while sanitation measures such as hand-washing stations and deep-cleaning procedures were put into place.

Residents of the American south are bracing for the emergence of a new brood of 17-year cicadas, the exceedingly noisy insects that fill the summer air with their loud mating calls nearly every two decades. Southerners may soon be treated to "a cacophonous whining like a field of out-of-tune car radios," Virginia Tech announced this week. The bugs live in underground burrows, slowly maturing over their 17-year life cycle, before emerging for about a month to mate, after which they quickly die. The relatively brief adult life of the cicadas is nevertheless notable from the outsized noise levels they generate over the course of about four weeks.
