Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis has restricted what personal information his state agencies will provide to federal immigration authorities, the latest measure he’s taken to protect Colorado’s illegal alien population. Polis quietly issued new policy guidance on Wednesday, directing state agencies not to provide Coloradans’s personal data to federal entities that intend to use the information for the sole purpose of immigration enforcement, according to the Colorado Sun. The new directive ultimately prevents Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers from obtaining such data unless they are investigating a crime or carrying a court order. Per the four-page executive guidance, information such as (snip) names and addresses cannot be released

It appears that the US Supreme Court recently ruled that encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the USA is a violation of federal law. Obviously that’s what the leftist and liberal Democrat created Sanctuary Cities are designed to do. By refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement officers, as they investigate and arrest illegal aliens, State and local officials are effectively encouraging illegal aliens to hide in their localities and remain in the USA. Now it is up to the federal immigration authorities to prosecute those offending State and local officials to the fullest extent of the law. All it will take is for a few successful prosecutions and the Sanctuary Cities concepts will quickly disappear.

Chinese state and social media have been filled with reports highlighting the nationwide demonstrations against police brutality in the US and attacking American politicians who supported the Hong Kong protests. State news agency Xinhua described the chaotic scenes as “Pelosi’s beautiful landscape”, a veiled reference to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s comments last year that the mass protests in Hong Kong were “a beautiful sight to behold”. State broadcaster CCTV on Saturday referred to the protest cities as “warzones” and produced round-the-clock updates and analyses highlighting the racial divide in the US.

Democratic and Republican officials on Sunday took aim at groups like Antifa and Boogaloo as well as demonstrators from out of town as responsible for violent episodes at protests in major cities across the country. President Donald Trump tweeted that he was designating Antifa as a terrorist organization. That followed Trump and Attorney General William Barr earlier pointing to anti-fascist organizers and anarchists as culprits behind the mayhem following the death of a 46-year-old black man, George Floyd, at the hands of Minneapolis police. Others said right-wing extremists such as Boogaloo followers, who hope to bring about a second Civil War, were pushing for such uprising in the protests.

A mob of monkeys stormed a lab worker in India and snatched several coronavirus-positive blood samples — causing outbreak-fearing neighbors to go ape, according to a report Friday. In the totally bananas attack, the laboratory technician was carrying boxes of the blood across the campus of a state-run medical college in Meerut, near Delhi, when the primates pounced, according to Reuters. “Monkeys grabbed and fled with the blood samples of four COVID-19 patients who are undergoing treatment,” said S. K. Garg, a top official at the college. “We had to take their blood samples again.”

The white Minneapolis police officer who knelt on George Floyd’s neck was arrested and charged with murder Friday. Derek Chauvin, 44, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the case. “What Minnesota had said in this initial charging is the officer did not have premeditation, he did not go into this incident desiring to kill this victim,” explained Jacksonville attorney Gene Nichols. According to the criminal complaint, Chauvin allegedly disregarded the concerns of another officer, who wanted to roll Floyd onto his side as he was being held down. The papers also said that an autopsy revealed nothing to support strangulation as the cause of death.

"Our team is glad the mistake was rectified," Giuliani's spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. Giuliani's team was informed early in the morning on May 12 that "video has been removed from YouTube" because it "was flagged to us for review," and upon that review, they "determined that it violates our guidelines,"

In a victory for the news media and others seeking electronic records from public agencies in California, the state Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the government cannot require them to pay the cost of removing confidential material from the records. The court unanimously overturned a state appeals court decision in 2018 that allowed the city of Hayward to charge the National Lawyers Guild more than $3,000 for copying and assembling body camera videos from Hayward police after a December 2014 protest march in Berkeley against police violence, in which some protesters were injured. The US wants Ms Meng to stand trial on charges linked to the alleged violation of US sanctions against Iran. Her case has created a rift between China and Canada. Her lead defence lawyer, Richard Peck, has argued in court that Canada is effectively being asked "to enforce US sanctions". But Associate Chief Justice Heather Holmes ruled
