President Trump on Friday announced that new Centers for Disease Control guidance will classify houses of worship as “essential,” as he called on governors to allow them to open “right now” after being closed during the coronavirus lockdowns. (Snip) "The governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now--for this weekend," Trump said. "If they don't do it, I will override the governors." "In America, we need more prayer not less," Trump said.

"Religion is the opiate of the masses." - Marx. If you look at Democrat actions through the lens of Marxism, you understand them perfectly. For some reason, they don't apply the same disapproval to Islam. I suspect that in many cases it's simple cowardliness. They feel like they can bully around Christians, because in general Christians won't retaliate by shoving a knife in their chest.

Some of the liberal media is reporting that President Trump ordered that all Churches, Synagogues, and other places of worship open up this weekend. But Trump did no such thing, what he did was say that the Governors should allow those places to open without further hindrance. It is to be a voluntary move by those places, some may want to open and some will not want to open, Trump did not interfere with those decisions and also the decisions made by the people all over the country to attend or not to attend religious services. Its still up to the people running the services to use common sense and abide by reasonable guidelines.

God Bless President Trump. He knows how essential it is for people to be able to go to church to pray. I heard someone say that they allow one thousand people in Home Depot, but they only want to allow ten people in church. Something is really wrong with a lot of people who are in charge in our country.

Perhaps the President should declare senior citizens essential and should not be sent back to nursing homes to die. Certain Democrat governors don't seem to get that.

I truly believe that President Trump is a genius!!!!! This is a "no win for the Demon-Rats. If they attack it (as some will do), all the sane people of this country will be really uncomfortable with them attacking Christianity so blatantly. As much as they have been trying to destroy Christianity and Judaism in this country, they still haven't succeeded. But if they don't attack it, then President Trump just looks strong and in-charge!!! In either case, President Trump -- and by association all sane Americans -- wins!!!!!!!!!

Stay-home orders that extend too long could cause the U.S. “irreparable damage,” Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday. Strict crackdowns on large gatherings and other orders, such as for home quarantines, were needed when the coronavirus first hit the nation, but those rules can now begin to be lifted in many parts of the country, Fauci said during an interview on CNBC. “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force said.

State Rep. The Small Business Association (SBA) is reaching out to each involved Planned Parenthood affiliate explaining that affiliates of larger organizations with more than 500 employees aren't eligible for PPP distributions, Fox News is told. It’s not rocket science to say the beginning of Trump hatred came from the Clinton campaign. He was once feted in New York, even by liberals. How did it change from high regard to hated? One thing is clear, dislike was instant once Trump entered the race as a Republican, increased as he ran, and took a quantum leap forward when he won the election. To this day the hatred has grown on a level hardly thought possible. (Snip)It’s beyond over the top, it’s beyond unsetting, but there it is for all to see.

Perhaps the most troubling-- and dangerous--aspect of the current political conversation is the unwillingness of virtually every elected official and every media pundit to confront what “Obamagate” is obviously about, which is treason. Specifically, treason committed by the Obama White House in attempting to block and then overthrow the Trump presidency. Obamagate is about the failed attempt by President Obama and his appointees to use government intelligence agencies to spy on the Trump campaign and White House, to concoct a phony accusation of collusion with Russia against the president and then to obstruct his administration and overthrow him.

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.
