House Speaker Nancy Pelosi threw a political tantrum on Twitter, scolding Republicans in the Senate for putting “lives and livelihoods” at risk by not holding a vote on her party’s $3 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill. [Tweet] I’m not sure how authorizing “expedited green cards” for migrant health workers and opening up banking services to cannabis businesses saves lives and jobs, but it’s a huge bill with a lot of words in it. Translation: I said I wanted a pony, my own Merry-go-round in the backyard and all the Jeni’s chocolate ice cream I can eat for my birthday! But my mommy said “no” cause she said I wouldn’t take care of the pony, I don’t need my own Merry-go-Round and we can’t afford it anyway and I can’t have Jeni’s but maybe Breyer’s! Yuck! She’s a big meanie. I hate her and I hate anybody who likes her! But my daddy (his name is Mitch) usually gives me whatever I want when mommy forgets about saying no. She thinks I forgot but I just smile at Daddy a lot and tell him how much I love my him and I always get whatever I want. Mommy gets mad but she doesn’t ever do anything.

Nancy, may I remind you that the Senate does not take instructions from you.. You are Speaker of the House and set the agenda for that body. Mitch McConnell is Senate Majority Leader and he sets the agenda for that body. McConnell does not need to call a vote on anything passed by the House. Just ask Harry Reid.

I really like a suggestion that someone showed me. President Trump should go on national television, read a list of Nasty's wants from her democratic wishlist, and then tar it up I full view of everyone. And he needs to take that big USAF jet away from her and give her something thats cheaper for the taxpayers, to fly to Kalifornia on every week.

White House Pres Secretary Kayleigh McEnany

Kayleigh McEnany is only 32 and has been the White House press secretary for just six weeks, but she’s already proving herself to be one of the best press secretaries in remembered history. This is impressive considering that, in following Sarah Huckabee, she has had big shoes to fill. Over and over, when Democrat party operatives disguised journalists try to catch her with “gotcha” questions, McEnany comes back at them with facts. On Friday, McEnany hit the White House press corp with a homework assignment intended to get them to direct some of their questions to Obama. McEnany’s gift is that, like Trump himself, she’s a happy warrior.

Don't tell the mainstream media, but another case of "nonexistent" voter fraud managed to squeak a few times this week before "objective" journalists quickly jumped on top of the story and smothered it with a pillow. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia secured a guilty plea from an election judge who admitted to "literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear." The investigation is ongoing, and prosecutors alluded to a much larger conspiracy involved.

We’re finally getting a clear picture of exactly how the beating of a 75-year-old nursing home patient by a man nearly one-quarter his age came about. And boy, it is a shocker. It turns out that victim and perp were sent to the Westwood Nursing Center in Detroit due to the fact that both were suffering from COVID. The older man, an Army vet, was snatched from his apartment and dumped in the nursing home without any notification of his relatives, who then spent a considerable amount of time looking for him, to no avail. As for the younger man, who is evidently named Jaydon Hayden,

Just as the coronavirus begins to wane, another dangerous pathogen is infecting America – COVID-19 politics. In the early days of the pandemic, state governors walked in lockstep, ordering lockdowns to mitigate coronavirus infections and safeguard hospitals from being overwhelmed with patients. Now that the number of new cases is flattening, politics are taking over, with states veering in different directions. Science no longer appears to be in the driver’s seat. Blue states are extending stay-at-home orders, while red states are opening for business. Two playbooks are in motion. Red states are scrambling to revive the economy as quickly as possible, to get people back to work so they can feed their families.

Progressives are attempting to use the coronavirus pandemic to challenge voting rules in Florida. They, in Neilsen v. DeSantis, are suing the state and 67 County Supervisors of Elections over what they consider unfair restrictions on vote-by-mail. Their demands include forcing officials to count ballots that are received after Election Day and authorizing ballot harvesting — the process of allowing organizers to go door-to-door,

I think he’s violating the law,” Young said, according to CBS News Baltimore. Based on new facts, I have no choice but to officially retract my earlier statement that Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) should not be held responsible for any coronavirus deaths. Unfortunately, Cuomo is directly responsible for a number of coronavirus deaths. Possibly thousands. My earlier assumption was based on a sound premise: there’s nothing we can do about plagues. Like floods, tornadoes, and other natural disasters, this is the price we pay to live in the natural world. To blame a politician, or anyone, for a single death caused by a virus is obscene. Further, in the event of a plague, all we can expect from our government is to avoid triage.

Stay-home orders that extend too long could cause the U.S. “irreparable damage,” Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday. Strict crackdowns on large gatherings and other orders, such as for home quarantines, were needed when the coronavirus first hit the nation, but those rules can now begin to be lifted in many parts of the country, Fauci said during an interview on CNBC. “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force said.

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.
