Scientists give a cautious green light for Americans
to go outside — with important caveats

Wow! So it turns out this respiratory virus is like every other respiratory virus. Who could have figured that out? Our grandparents must be turning in their graves wondering how we got so stupid.

The absolute dumbest thing was closing parks and playgrounds. ANY grandmother would tell you get out...get in the sun and fresh air. When the kids were little I opened the windows every day regardless of the weather to air out bedrooms and blow out the stale germy air. My kids were sick very rarely. I couldn't believe when a friend of mine said she hadn't been out of her very tiny apartment for the past eight weeks! Never. She ordered her groceries had them put them into the trunk of her car. Then her son would get them an put them outside her door. She was afraid to be near her own son. How many others like hers. How many bodies will we find mummified (or worse) in their homes in the coming months? So many of these arbitrary orders from the governors have been completely nuts. We can never, ever allow anything like this to happen ever again.

Total BS. I have NEVER been staying inside. My wife and I scraped and painted the south side of our house, and I tore off and replaced some deteriorated siding with new on the front, painted the porch railing. We have been doing EVERYTHING normally except getting haircuts and having dinner in restaurants, the whole time.

It never was not ok for you to go outside. I want to get back to when we need medical advice we find a doctor for it, instead of having politicians and scientists providing it, when it is not wanted.

OH, and the other thing we won't be doing this year is a two week trip to England to got to a historic race and get some track driving time with instructors, visit Hadrian's Wall, and some more historic tourist stuff up in Scotland. We'll go next year, instead.

So you can go outside again, huh? Well, how 'bout that! (Shhhh . . . don't tell anyone, but I've been going outside ever since this idiotic nonsense started). Add this to the other good news: According to the CDC, you can start licking toilet seats again because you can't get the virus from surfaces.

As long a reopening comes with conditions, we are still in lockdown. NO CONDITIONS! They lock us down. They tell us what we can do and when we can do it. They take away our rights and freedoms. They closed businesses and cost jobs. They decide who lives and who dies. All in the name of public safety. Really, who are they protecting? There is nothing right about this.

NBC News. They're still holding on to the Imperial Model. Serious scientists' opinions are beginning to drag them into the sun, in self defense. Because they are going to look REALLY foolish when the truth comes out.

I was so happy to see when i was in the car today boys on their bicycles, and a man walking and joking around with his teen age kids, and grandparents pushing a stroller with one of their grand kids - all without masks, and this is Massachusetts! I walked into the convenience store without my mask - just forgot - and i said to the woman, "I'm too old for this stuff." and she said so was she. And that's how we will get back to normal. We are all sick of it and besides it was a beautiful day to be outside.

A poll shows that a majority wants to stay at home. They're scaaaaared. They don't like Orange Man, who's badder than ever before. Even worser. They believe Fauci. They like him at the moment. Obviously they forget that once upon a time Fauci said the virus was no big deal, you didn't need masks, you could come and go as you please and you shouldn't ban travelers from China, and then he said Warning! Warning! Shelter in place! Wear a mask! Sterilize everything! Flatten the curve! Flatten the curve Do it, or the world is going to end! These believers are Democrats, for sure. I know one of them quite well. A very caring and kind person, who told me "Trust Fauci!" There is no point arguing with those who have accepted their political swami's dicta. Like any fanatical adherent, they do not question their chosen Political Grandee, under whom they nestle so cozily. It sure isn't POTUS. He thinks we're adults and rational and have common sense. This is what we're up against. And for now, Biden --of all people-- is the eschaton they're trying to immanentize.

First of all, screw the scientists. All of these so called experts have been wrong about everything, and I blame them for this shutdown nonsense. Second of all, sunlight and fresh air kills viruses, and one doesn't need a mask when outside. Every time I see someone wearing a mask while walking outside, I want to yell at them to remove the mask.

If we become Bubblewrap Nation, our benevolent liberal democrat politicians can take care of us. No need to work or even leave our homes for the rest of our lives. I think the scientists think they are being kind by treating us like gophers who can peek out of our holes now and then.

I have never stopped going outside. I go to about 4 or 5 stores per day and never wear a face diaper. I do not stay 6 feet from others. I wear a t-shirt that says "I will not comply." What else can I do to make these people furious? I wanna know because I relish it.

Please Lord, keep my head from exploding... The Leftist talking heads, and their sycophantic mob, have incessantly ranted: "Follow the science!" The SCIENCE is inarguable -- UV light rapidly kills every virus. RNA viruses. DNA viruses. UV light, UV-A, UV-B, simply ruptures the bonds, very rapidly, that hold a virus together. Within seconds, the virus is incapable of carrying out it's main function, to replicate in a hijacked human cell. Hospitals have utilized this fact for years, placing high-powered UV lighting systems in ORs before procedures with a high risk of infection. These lights rapidly render the operating room STERILE: all bacteria and ALL VIRUSES are wiped out in minutes. No possible infectious potential from the OR environment. The magical COVID19 virus is still subject to this scientific, biologic fact. So, Guess what!? Our most powerful, wonderful, source of UV light that renders this virus impotent is: drum-roll, da-da-da-duh! THE SUN. Being outside, in the SUN, is the most protective location from transmission of this virus, mask be damned. Go to the beach, go to the lake, hike up a mountain, walk outside in the sun. Even if someone breathes out a lung-full of COVID19, the UV light exposure virtually certainly renders it incapable of infecting anyone more than 5-6 feet away. This is a fact that the CDC seems very hesistant to share with the public. It is very odd to me that all outdoor activities have been curtailed for the past 8 weeks, when the GREAT OUTDOORS in the SUN is the safest, least infectious place to be. If anyone has a theory why this information is being supressed, please share. But, please know this: Outdoors, in the SUN, is the best and safest place to be. This is a Scientific FACT, ignored by the Left, who are so despotically demanding and yet ignoring at the same time. And, by the way, sunlight gives you Vitamin D, which is necessary for bone health and strength. Being inside for two months will render countless Americans to a fate of osteoporosis, broken hips at a young age, and other complications of altered Calcium metabolism. Yet another reason that sheltering under your bed is at least as dangerous to your health than getting out, and WALKING IN THE SUN!

All cities, except New York City where Mayor de Blasio plans on fencing off the beach. Gotta run up his unnecessary expenditures as much as he can so he can reap big bailout dollars courtesy of the rest of us.
