The words from Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker on Monday were meant to offer some hope for small business owners as he spoke of reopening industries within the state. For restaurant owners, it was what he failed to mention that evaporated any reason to hope. As restaurants continue to withstand revenue losses of more than 75% over the last two months amid the coronavirus pandemic, Monday’s plan revealed little new information to guide the industry forward. “I don’t want to sound like a Debbie Downer but there’s not enough cash, you can’t borrow enough money,” co-owner of Bay State Brewing Company

Baker (RINO-MA) is completely out of touch/control with the people who make this state work. He might as well be a democrat like the nuts running Michigan & NY.

Restaurants exist for customers who want to eat out. They, too, are hurt by this RINO's dictates and if one owner serves 50 people a day that's 50 times as many people who will hopefully come next election take it out on Baker.

We bugged out from Stalag California to Idaho a few days ago. Went out to dinner last night at a real sit down restaurant. Such a simple pleasure, it was wonderful after 62 days (out of 15-days-to-flatten-the-curve). I left them a hefty tip!

#6, I left after a REALLY hefty, involuntary "tip" too. (To California, not Idaho.) Last time they're ever seeing me or my dough.

I'm in Missouri and have enjoyed steak lunches at two well known steak houses in the last couple of weeks. So thankful, it had been so long. I never felt threatened by the Wuhan Cootie Virus at either of them.

Open your restaurants and get back to normal! Don't be afraid of a spineless RINO. However, John McCain is evidence of how ruthless they can be against their own. Against leftists, not so much.

The last time I was in Mass for a business trip was a long time ago. A loud mouthed, obnoxious leftist jerk was in our group going on a tour of a factory. He got all mouthy about gun control and I finally had to change seats to avoid the risk of punching him in the nose.
Mass gets what they have chosen. Not a lot of sympathy.

The owner interviews are kind of sad. No real defiance, mostly they're upset but still scared.

#11 they are cowed. Good subjects for leftist thugs, little or no spine. And probably will vote for more of the same the first chance they get.
And to think that their forefathers were willing to die for liberty, and took on the world's most powerful military machine. And these wimps just roll over and wimper.

Massholes are so smug with their 'Boston Strong' mantra - - where is that strength now you snowflakes? hiding in your basements - - can't eat sit down in a restaurant because of fear.

Even here in blue Nashville TN in Red Tennessee we ate out tonight, 50% capacity but several brave souls enjoying some yummy German food and tasty German brews. One of our fav restaurants, owned by two retired GI's who loved their time in Germany so much they made a wee bit of it here. In the counties around us, restaurants can go full capacity and are. We are not dropping like flies.
Freedom is nice. Life goes on.

Government employees, being paid by your tax dollars, know what's best when it comes to essential and "non essential" businesses. /s
