Sorry, That Defiant N.J. Gym Owner
Is Not A Hero -- He's Part
Of The Problem

About a month into the pandemic, a friend of mine made the perfect observation about human nature during this crisis: We won’t all get infected by the coronavirus, but we’ve all been exposed. That, luckily, includes thousands of people who have been exposed as kind, generous and community minded. People like the newspaper deliveryman bringing people their groceries for free, or the pizzeria owner who took out a line of credit to keep paying his employees, or the teenager who is delivering hot meals to overworked funeral home directors.

Comments:

The disease is real. The lockdown is junk science, Steve, and the goals keep moving.

Mirror, Steve, mirror. Government "experts" are the main problem and the media is part of the problem. Americans got it right this time.

'experts' who troll deep pockets for cash, and who will say anything they are paid to say are the problem. And in an effort to damage Trump, the media just swallows the BS hook, line and sinker in support. The media fear mongering is responsible for a majority of the problems right now, and no getting around your culpability Stevie.

What a wuss Steve Politi is. This is no American, even though he was born and raised here. Submitting to Authority is not CONSTITUTIONAL when it's demonstrably in conflict with policies in place. If liquor stores and pot dispensaries are open then why not gyms? It makes no sense. Steve seems to like being told what to do-go fetch, Steve! Sit! Stay! Play dead! Imagine this doofus on a wagon train headed westward thru Injun' territory. Would you surrender, soyboy?

You Lefties, as usual, are wrong. Junk Science or not, Authority derives from trust and responsibility. You Lefties have abused the public trust and abused your authority so flagrantly, that We the People are about to bite you back. Have you ever heard the fable of the Boy who cried Wolf? Chicken Little? The Emperor's New Clothes? There is a fair amount of wisdom in the old fables. You people have lied to us. You've tried to panic us, and you've claimed your decisions and reasoning were above reproach. But we've seen otherwise. Now, it may be unwise for these store owners to open up, but you've wated your authority in past lies and manipulations. You've dug your graves. Can you finish that paraphrase?

Oh shut up moron. Anyone with a bit of common sense understood from the beginning that the people at risk were a small percentage of the population. They could have easily been isolated and protected without punishing the rest of the nation. Idiots seized control and for the first time I'm disappointed in President Trump. I know he felt he had to do it with the rest of the world buying into 'pandemic' panic and with almost zero political support in DC, but the shutdown was wrong and unnecessary. Ask yourself, why aren't we always wearing masks 24/7 because prior to this flu chemo patients, transplant patients and other high risk individuals were near us. They took precautions, NOT everyone else. This is/was a bad flu, but it is not ebola, polio, smallpox, etc. When measles swept thru the country, we did not shut it down. Same for polio. This unprecedented overreaction was totally a globalist/rat attack on the American economy. Even if it was accidentally released and not bio-warfare, as soon as the crisis could be used for political purposes, it was. Just like the worn out nonsense about rats being for the 'working' man. They use them like pawns and the worse things get for them, the better for writers like this dope and his media owners. The best friend of the working man is President Trump who, until this Spring, created an economic movement that gave the working class more money and more career options than all the decades of rat lies.

The truth is there are people that would sacrifice everyone around them for their own personal safety. They would keep the country locked down for their own personal safety. They don't care if it hurts millions. Their safety comes first. That is the attitude driving the lockdown.

My initial reaction was that Navarro occupied a position in the Trump Administration that wouldn’t have afforded him access to this kind of “inside information” with regard to the status of a closely-held criminal investigation. At the same time, however, his background and portfolio of responsibilities made him one of only a limited number of people who were part of the true inner circle of the Trump White House.

Trump has repeatedly drawn attention to the issue even as his own administration has warned of a concerted Russian effort to denigrate Biden and asserted that a Ukrainian lawmaker who is involved in spreading anti-Biden claims is an “active Russian agent.”

The pandemic has created chaos that has drawn a thin and temporary curtain over Trump’s enduring incompetence and dishonesty — behind it, he is actively sabotaging oversight and the rule of law at the same insatiable rate.  Corrections**

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
