There is a huge difference between
Christine Blasey Ford and Tara Reade

When Tara Reade, a former staffer in the office of then-Sen. Joe Biden, stepped forward to make a claim that Biden had sexually violated her, an endless stream of commentary ensued: It’s hard to not believe her if you believed Christine Blasey Ford (who accused Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of sexual assault when both were teenagers). Democrats are in a pickle! Live by the “believe women” rule!
This effort at moral equivalency made the same error that all such comparisons do: It attempted to treat unequal things as equal. In the case of Ford, she had never changed her account of an assault at a party, which Kavanaugh denies.

Oh my word ... anyone with a brain HAD to follow the Kavanaugh story. It was 24/7 frenzy news! There wasn’t a credible story to be found against him, not during the fiasco, but particularly after. They were ALL manufactured frauds. And now to see this drivel ... is this woman delusional?

TDS at full tilt for Jennifer and the Post. The assault lines up with all his creepy touching which she omits.

Excuse a second reply, but I just have to say ... If this article was on FB or YouTube, it would HAVE to be removed as false content. I know the Wash Post is way left leaning and is usually full of crap, but as we say in the South, “This one takes the cake!”

Did Rubin watch the trial? Ford did awful, she couldn't "recall" anything, it was obvious she made the entire thing up to try to help the dems get rid of Kavanaugh. It's what the dems DO. Just look at the pattern of deceit that the dems display and get away with because the media covers for them.

Rubin was a waste of time twelve years ago when she was shiving Palin politically. Some of us knew that then and said so. Now everyone does.
Rubin, Wallace, Romney always were unprincipled phonies when they marketed themselves as conservatives; now they are traitors.

Ford never had one corroborating witness. Her best friend denied all knowledge of any of it. Rubin is simply a hack.

Worthless Rubin is right on one point, comparing "unequal things as equal."
Blasey-Ford lied through her teeth, in that simpering voice she affected.
Reade is telling the truth, by all evidence to date (which Blasey-Ford had none).

I thought I had entered bizarro world where everything is the opposite! Ford, as much as I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt had nothing, Reade at least has people she told at the time that back her up. For God's sake will the democratic lie machine please stop!

"Some did, however, acknowledge his nonsexual touchy-feely conduct,"
There is no such thing. When you rub your hands over a woman's body and smell her hair without her consent, it's not for her benefit but yours. I will gladly try it on you Jennifer and we'll see how long it takes you to squeal like a pig. Although after viewing your picture, it would take some effort on my part to bring myself to do it.
OP, the "pretzel-bending" comment was a beauty. Blasey Ford kept her story straight because it was made up and memorized perfectly before it was inserted in a long string of proven lies. Reade was obviously under duress from a real violation and it has been many years since it happened. This sort of deliberate confusion is not new for Rubin, she has a history of mangling the truth.

Typical Rubin. No surprise that she is totally sympathetic to Ford and her phony little valley girl voice. No, Jennifer, her story didn't change. Afraid to fly? False. Witnesses who could collaborate her presence at the so-called party? False. Adding a door in her house because of fear of being closed in? False. But no matter. She had so much 'credibility'. Meanwhile, the accuser of Biden may or may not be telling the truth. I have no idea. But there is no evidence either way. He said, she said. It is the Democrats that invented the 'every woman should be believed' law. Now they have to deal with it.

The thing that really irks me, over and over, is that Ford never accused Kavanaugh of rape. She accused him of "copping a feel" in a drunken stupor. She was unable to find a single corroborating witness, or name the place or the time. Most people get over these kinds of juvenile 30 year old antics. Reade is saying she was raped by an older man in power. Rubin is dim.

One is telling the truth, (Reade) and one was lying through her teeth to serve a political agenda, (Ford). So which one is gonna be treated kindly and believed? The phony of course. She serves the agenda, Reade does not. Reade does serve one purpose though. She torpedoed the #MeToo movement better than any GOP politician could do.

Who knows if Reade is telling a whole truth, a creatively enhanced truth, or lying. I don't know. I do know Christine Blasey Ford was laying, start to finish.

No. 12 gets it! Biden is a creep. What he does with women and little girls is copping a cheap feel. The man has an unhealthy obsession with having to touch a woman and a woman's hair. It’s like a guy in the crowded subway Car “accidently” rubbing up against a woman. If he’s caught at it he excuses it as an accident or laughs it off. And doesn’t it amaze you how these women commentators can get into the weeds to defend this dirty old man. They all play defense lawyer. It all comes down to Democrat Immunity.

Molly Hemingway, co-author of Justice on Trial (about Kavanaugh), could demolish this fiction in a second, along with Jennifer Rubin.

So one take from Jen's article is if a predator can find a slightly ditzy woman with money troubles then have at it because nobody should believe her. Nice
